In my opinion, Thirst was really. Hmm.. How do I explain it? It was good, but I wasn't feeling all of the sex scenes. It was really an A movie with unnecessary sexual stuff. That's what I thought anyway.

Mother was really good. The storyline was good and twisted I tell you. It's pretty slow but it's still really good.

Thirst on the other hand, I did not like. I say if you LOVE movies then watch it, if not, make sure you like this genre of films; such as Quentin Tarantino type. The genre reminds me a lot of films such as "Oldboy" and "Let the Right One In"...both which I did not like, but if you liked Oldboy and most of the directors' films than you'd probably love Thirst.

I really want to watch this film but it's rated R21 in Singapore and I'm only turning 18 this year.
I've been waiting for months for it to show in Singapore! I don't watch movies on the computer or TV unless I really have no other options.
I want to watch it so badly that it bothered me for almost the whole day when I found out (T_T)

deng. singapore. you have to wait until you're 21 to watch rated r movies?

Yeah :/

We have G, PG, NC16, M18 and R21. I have no idea how they rate the movies. Somebody told me that the most Mother have restricted to in other countries was 18 years old. D:< I was sooooooooooooooooo upset. I really, REALLY want to watch this movie. It's still showing but it's hard for me or any friends of mine to pass of as 21.

Do you know anyone who's 21 and over?

I remember going to rated r movies with my cousin growing up.

Mother was pretty good. I think it was a little too polished, now that I think back on it, but it was good. Slow-moving at some parts though. If anything, don't watch it for Won Bin, but for the mother-actress. She did an amazing job.

Only the fact that there's Kim Hye-ja or Song Kang-ho is a reason enough to make a movie worth watching. So I'd def recommend both of the films. I liked them. C:

MOHTER, was okay... honestly one of the main reason I watched it cuz of Won-bin, plus people recommended it. If I knew more about that movie, I would not have watched it. Thirst? I'm not planning to watch it.

Thirst was nucking futs but I really liked it. I mean for once when someone became a vampire they didn't go into broody emo mode. It was definitely a park chan wook film because some parts were really crazy.

I still need to see mother but that's next on my list of things to watch.

I wanted to say that I thought Thirst was a great movie. And to kind of counter comment the one that said all the sex wasn't necessary... I mean he's a priest and a virgin at first, it's the beginning of his downfall, a degredation of his faith and I think it shows the pervase ability his vampirism has to subvert all of his previous beliefs... in other words I thought the movie was awesome and you should totally watch it, lol.
