Dispatch uncovers group chat convos between Burning Sun staff

Dispatch met with past and current Burning Sun MDs who exposed the club for using various tactics to bring girls into their VIP client rooms. Succesfully bringing a drunk woman into those rooms would be called a 'home run'. Dispatch was given access to one conversation that went like:

MD1: The VIP room is looking for a 'mulge' (drugged woman).
MD2: Okay, I'm looking for one.
MD1: Hurry and help me find one.
MD1: We don't need one anymore. Just look for someone who looks out of it.
MD2: I'll look for a 'snail' then.
MD1: Help me hit a home run.


Director A: Look at the room right now. They're having sex.
MD1: How can you see that?
MD2: Wow~ it's true
MD3: Going to Hong Kong in Burning.

Dispatch was able to see the sex video in the club's glass VIP room. Although they couldn't check whether it was against her will or not, it has been confirmed that the videos are recorded and shared among staff.


"When a VIP hits a home run, there's a bigger chance for the VIP to return so some MDs will even supply the VIPs with date rape drugs to use on the female guests. There's a likely chance that this leads to sex crimes."

MD1: (Hidden camera picture) This woman's passed out.
Director A: Her skirt's up.
MD2: Great body but messed up face.
Director C: I only care about the top quality ones.
Director A: The woman at table O doesn't look to be in good condition, take her out.
Guard 1: Got it.
Director B: Someone's hitting on the 'mulge' that I'm trying to pick up. Get a guard on them.
Guard 2: Got it. I have it taken care of.

none of the language here is surprising/nor the motives, sadly I've seen it too many times, however gotta love people too dumb to realize that by texting each other so plainly like this it can all be subpoenaed and very easily used in court. love when assholes hang themselves like this. I hope this gives more victims courage to come forward if they feel up to it and I hope this puts Seungri's ass in court alongside everyone in these exchanges.

yeah i heard horror stories of people walking back from home and seeing black out drunk girls being carried away by strange men into the night, so these texts definitely seem real to me. i think there needs to be a whole investigation into the club scene in seoul and people in charge of these clubs need to be punished for encouraging behavior like this especially

I'm a little surprised at the open discussion of drugs and drugging people (if that's what I understood?) by the employees, but not so much about looking for/handing over drunk women. Or about the tapes of sex. Seems pretty par for the course in that kind of environment. It's still absolutely disgusting and I hope fans stop all the shit over Seungri and instead maybe think of the victims & perpretrators.

I hope Seungri and the rest of them, especially his business bro ceo buddy, get a proper, full investigation and charged as appropriate.

There must be so many functional traumatized women in S. Korea (for lack of a better term.) Like how lots of women in the west had to just suppress until things started getting better recently.

Even tho these are all good changes, it pretty much also shows that the chats revealed by Dispatch were fully accurate. Also I'm sure they're only doing this bc they got caught it's probably been going on forever.

it's normalized in our patriarchal world that doesn't see women as human beings but just as objects to use and consume. unfortunately, the club scene isn't the only place this happens, i.e. frat parties, house parties, the music industry, etc

the explicitness of the texts surprise me but the thoughts and actions of these people are of no surprise to me. someone has to be punished for this and attitudes have to be changed to not view women as prizes or conquests. this has to start from a young age though. it's too late for these people in the texts because they don't see women's humanity

The rampant rape culture of the clubbing scene as depicted here makes it clear that idols are not pure vestal virgins and that your oppar are just as likely to benefit from this as they are to get into these businesses for the purpose of partaking in this behaviour.

unpopular opinion, but I still feel Seungri may not have much idea of what has been going on. he seems to be the kind who likes to boast that he's hands-on running the businesses, but I feel he has too many things going on to fully understand the day-to-day operations. he's a celebrity and i doubt he will willingly put his career on the line to be the face of this club if he knows all these blatant crimes being committed. i hope a thorough investigation will be done to return justice to the victims and to clarify everything...

Seungri would have to be walking around with blinders on not to know. Based on these chats, these practices weren't even an open secret. They were akin to their business model. He frequents the club. From the CEO to the staff were friends of his. How could he possibly not know?

There still needs to be an investigation and it might turn out that he really didn't know, but I wish his fans wouldn't jump to insist that he's an obtuse fool.

CEO of BS is Seungri close buddy and business partner in rest of his ventures (Aori Ramen and another club), they met when he was promoter for Arena Club, and Seungri love clubbing with rich kids, no way he doesn't know what kind of shit goes down in clubs and still he willingly gave his face and money to one. I question his business acumen at this point.
