On January 31, LM Entertainment announced, “Kang Daniel and Yoon Ji Sung’s exclusive contracts with MMO Entertainment end on January 31. Starting on February 1, they will be moving to a new agency, LM Entertainment.”

The agency went on, “The two artists ended up joining LM Entertainment on the foundation of deep trust, and we plan to decide on the direction of their future activities after careful discussion. We promise to do our utmost to support the [two] artists, who are preparing to make a fresh start.”

Both Kang Daniel and Yoon Ji Sung were signed to MMO Entertainment when they appeared on Mnet’s “Produce 101 Season 2” and subsequently debuted as members of the show’s project group Wanna One in 2017. Both Kang Daniel and Yoon Ji Sung are hard at work preparing for their upcoming solo debuts.

this is definitely not surprising, but i do almost feel bad for mmo given that it doesn't really seem like they'll be profiting off the fame their two trainees got, lol
i wonder if other wanna one members from smaller agencies will be following suit? bae jinyoung maybe?

they made plenty the last couple of years and now they have to take those profits and invest in improving their agency so they can keep talent next time lol. Good for the boys though, they gotta put their own careers first!

but they did get the wanna one money from these two. i'm more surprised the rest of the boys didnt just stick around, considering mmo would definitely debuted daniel and he most likely would need a group

Before all this, I just thought he and daniel would be back with mmo and debuted with the other boys who did PD101 with them. But now they moved to another company, i just feel like his carrier is a bit unsure 😕
