I think this second team will be japan based since YGE is always late on trends and realized the other big agencies are planning similar moves. I watched it because I was curious/craving another survival show to follow and YG was merciless. The poor boys who were in "team A" thought the whole time they would debut first before the 3 other teams because they trained the longest but YG just does whatever he wants and makes his decisions. He made it look like the audience or his staff had a say but the final decisions were so vague and its clear he already has a group he had in mind from the start.

It kinda reminds me of Sixteen where JYP pretty much had all the power and the girls were decided from the beginning but he had to make all the contestants fight and suffer for nothing.

I just feel like this is Winner and Ikon all over again. I didn't watch treasure but it feels like the people he wanted to win didn't so he made a second group with the one's he wanted. But I did feel bad for Ikon because that not only had the first show they had to do a 2nd show to see who would be in the group. Wondering if he is going to do the same thing with these kids.

I love Winner and Ikon they both have different kind of music so I am wondering what kind of groups these maybe.

I watched Treasure and the people who won are pretty much his favorites from the start, even the one that everyone was like "huh???" made it because YG kept picking him over the other talented ones.

It is clear he is releasing another boy group to capitalize on the popularity on the ones he didn't choose and to also appease angry fans.

yeah I saw it coming from a mile away. YG wanted to not lose the fans of those who didn't win. People were made because YG just went ahead with his bias and all the challenges were pointless if the winners were the teacher's pets, or in this case, the CEO's pets. He should've just debuted a giant group, even though I know he said he hates big groups and was originally planning to debut just 5 people.
