After 10+ years of being forced into cute kpop concepts, it seems like she’s trying to run hard in the opposite direction. Idk it just feels a little forced (especially the acting good lord). She needs a good A&R team that can help her really explore/find her sound because I honestly don’t see her current stuff taking off.

I agree. Born again reminds me of heartbreak hotel at some parts. I think if she releases and official English version of heartbreak hotel, it would be well received.

I can’t remember the exact quote, it may have been in the MTV feature. Basically she was calling it her “test drive” and she talked about how she’s now free to do what she wants. There was no outright “I hated IJWD” or anything like that, but considering she’s done a complete 180 I feel like it was somewhat implied.
Aw, I thought IJWD fit her really well. The style and everything. I guess she wants to do less poppy songs and more r&b. I said it above, but Born Again reminds me of Heartbreak Hotel at some parts. I really liked Heartbreak Hotel and Born Again. She should totally continue in that direction, music style-wise.
i honestly wish her the best and want her to do well but this music is just not doing it for me.. she has a great voice & this song does not do it justice - even listening to just the audio her voice sounds way too processed. sucks because she has a solid press team and an obviously dedicated fanbase, but this song is not going to break her into the market :/
I agree for sure, it's frustrating because I think Tiffany has one of the best voices but all her recent stuff just doesn't do her justice and I'm afraid its going to cause her to just fade into the background.

Her hair looks reallyyyyyyy bad. They did not blend her hair well with the extensions at all. It seems like she cut it again before dying it, because it is shorter than it was before. Her glam team needs to take notes from Suzy's because her extensions looked sooooo good.

I literally wouldn't have known she had extensions in if I hadn't been watching her drama at that time and knew that she had short hair (While You Were Sleeping).
Fernando Garibay's gritty production doesn't fare well with YouTube's audio compression, so the digital download versions sound sooooo much better as a result.
