Happiness is short lived for the rookie indie band CNBLUE as their hit title track I’m a Loner is under suspicion for plagiarism.
The boys definitely made a strong debut and after only a week they’ve risen to fame and beat out the competition as they took the #1 spot across all music charts. But with glory comes controversy, as people are starting to think that I’m a Loner is a copy of another song titled Blue Bird by a band called Ynot. Take a listen below to both songs and compare for yourself.

I think it's possible that the composer was thinking of the tune but couldn't remember where he/she heard it from, so he/she wrote the song for CNBlue. I'm like that at times.

there's some similarities - the music at the beginning, the falsetto - but the melodies are different? i don't know how much of a similarity is required for it to be plagiarism, but could something like this just be imitating a similar style?
it'll be interesting to see how this plays out...
