'The Masked Singer' on FOX had its premiere yesterday and was watched by 9.4 million people (3.0 A18-49 rating), meaning it was the highest rated unscripted series launch on TV in seven years (since The X Factor in 2011). Omona, did you watch? How was it?

I watched it, and I loved the detail and craftsmanship of the costumes. I actually thought it was really good, and I guessed pretty close on the person unmasked lol

The costumes were great. Very elaborate. There were dancers which I don’t know why but that caught me off guard. It was alright. None of the contestants so far really wow me singing wise.

i didn't have a chance to watch it yet but my mom did and she said she enjoyed it which is surprising bc she hates all reality(?? variety?? idk how to categorize it) shows that aren't americas got talent

now can "i can see your voice" get an US version too as much as i'm not a fan of US remakes that is one show i want to see interpreted and also cause i'm addicted to that show and i've watched the so many of the korean versions episodes over and over

I haven’t watched - not sure if I will, the judges seem annoying. But I’m glad to see it do well. It was Rme-worthy on Ontd seeing people going on and on how stupid this and how it would fail, it’s like - oh, y’all wrong again. Especially like it was repeatedly mentioned that it did well in Korea, maybe not immediately write it off?

I didn't get to watch it I thought it was on next week. But I did go to youtube and watched the clips of the singers to see if I could guess who they were. If I remember next week I may try to watch it.

i agree. it could be a good platform for up and coming artists that aren't total nobodies but at the same time not super famous

the masks are super awesome but i wish they stuck to actual singers and performers with no other celebrities like it was said before. of course if they are musical actors that's ok too. the costumes are really awesome and i'm glad they' re including dancing too
