NCT's Haechan to take a break from activities due to fractured shinbone

On December 19, SM Entertainment shared through an official statement, “Member Haechan recently went to the hospital after twisting his right leg while preparing for performances. It was diagnosed that his tibia (shinbone) is fractured, so he is in a cast and is currently resting.

The statement continues, “As a result, Haechan will inevitably not participate in all schedules including end-of-year activities, and he will focus on treatment and recovery for the time being as recommended by the doctor.”

Poor boy must be really drained between his dream and 127 schedules, he's also pretty young so they'd best be careful that these kinds of injuries heal properly or he'll have major issues later in life.

i have some faith that sm will let him properly rest after what they did with jaemin and his back issues, so...we'll see. also very glad he can rest because he and mark have been so overworked

honestly idk. after all that stress with Jaemin, Lucas have been complaining about back pains the whole year and SM still sending him to the jungle and to get military training. i pray he's getting treatment and we don't know bc it reads like sm never learns

i got so mad about this this morning lol i worry about him and mark so much. no one should have to do 3 comebacks in the span of 3 months! it’s just unnecessary.

i wish i was more surprised when i got the news this morning. will be even less surprised if this is a stress fracture. it will take a month and half at the very least for him to recover if that is the case and i'm relieved he'll have time to rest and recover, maybe even stay the holidays with this family. the last fanaccs said he looked totally drained of energy, poor thing

Much have been said about Mark being in all the units but some people tend to forget that Haechan is also in 2 of NCT's busiest units. Hope he doesn't feel too bad about missing the year end shows and they don't pressure him too much especially with 127's Japan tour coming up in the new year. Get well soon!
