I think people CAN pull off blue, but they need to bleach it fully and evenly beforehand and use a high quality dye. Most people around me I've seen don't do either of those things and it comes out that awful not quite turquoise colour that fades to sea green within two washes. I dyed my hair both sky blue and a shade close to Amber's colour here and it was a hassle and a half to make it look good bc the yellow of bleached hair fights really hard to make green.

I'm also just so over blue hair tbh. I live in Portland so you can't go two blocks without someone being totes "quirky" with their half-assed blue hair. Seeing orange or pink is honestly refreshing these past ten years, ahaha.

lmao same, when i was younger everyone had that awful blue, including my hipster friend who continues to use those crappy drug store dyes even though I've recommended better ones to her! I've stopped dyeing my hair bc of the upkeep costs and damage it caused but I still judge people who half ass dyeing their hair unnatural colours. if you're gonna commit you gotta COMMIT

I had a brown wig that I used when I was dyeing my hair crazy colours, for occasions like taking ID photos or job interviews (didn't want to dye my hair back to black to not get the job). It just wasn't comfortable for me to wear at all. I get headaches just from wearing hats, wigs are even worse (maybe bc my head is fckn massive lmao). Also it was a lot of fun to actually mess around with hair dyes and mix colours and stuff.

I'm really anti body mod for myself (no piercings or tattoos) and I consider hair dyeing a part of that. IDK, the thought just really freaks me out. So I wear wigs XD But they only work in the cooler months. Too hot in the summer!

ha! I also don't wear makeup. But that's more of a texture / time thing since it's super temporary. Theoretically. I know a lot of people who got infections because they didn't fucking remove their makeup.

that's so stupid of them, I love wearing makeup and experimenting with it, but no matter how drunk, tired or sick I am, I'd never go to bed without taking it off. like that's rule number one of makeup. if you wear it, take it off before you sleep.
