GFRIEND’s Agency Reassures Fans Again About Yuju’s Absence From Recent Activities

GFRIEND’s agency has once again released a statement on Yuju being absent from activities.

Despite the statement released on November 20, fans continued to express concern.

On November 22, Source Music released another statement saying, “There are no issues with Yuju. Beginning in December, she will participate in activities like normal.”

why can't they just make an excuse for whatever she is doing? unless it's a surprise solo debut I don't see why they had to be so hush hush about it

oh man, it's quite sad that Source Music is making them do procedures this point into their careers. I remember Umji disappeared for quite a while and came back looking a little different also

I think she left when they went over and did a show in Europe (before fingertip?). The excuse was something about her thighs. Honestly, my guess is that it was a crash diet because she came back with the group much smaller. Her face shape changed slightly and I'm hoping it was weight loss and not surgery.

are you saying when she couldn't walk, had to use a wheelchair and couldn't dance at the showcase in Taiwan was pretending? they had everything set up for them to go Europe together and announced it and had to cancel her going because of a injury that if wasn't treated right would make her not be able to dance anymore when GFriend is a group knowing for dancing that's a big problem. she didn't comeback instantly looking different, she looked the same during the vlive and when she took the college exam in November 2016, we saw her progress of losing weight, December/January was when it started being slightly noticeable, then in February 2017 all of the GFriend members were noticeable with less weight (except Sowon and Yuju), I'm not saying she never did anything but she was forcefully stopped from promoting, dancing, going with them for their traveling show in October of 2014 because of a leg injury, her absence was because of an injury, if she did something was after and not stopped promoting because of that.
a lot of people that don't follow the group only saw her in Navillera and then during Fingertip, that was 8 months in between, but the fans saw the progression of them losing weight during that time because, GFriend never stopped working and attending events every week.

I’m so mad at the way they handled her disappearance. They should just be upfront about what’s going on instead of letting fans speculate and worry. I automatically assumed the worst and wondered if they were punishing her for doing something wrong, but the most popular guesses seem to be solo activities in the works or plastic surgery.
