I screamed and nearly threw something at the screen when Jin Kang decided to pursue a relationship with Moo Young. Your best friend just died, you warned her against dating him, and now...you're dating him? Even worse, you think you alone can fix him? Ugh. Maybe I should view this more romantically (I haven't seen the Japanese version) but this seems bad, bad, bad.

That being said, Seo In-Guk and Jung So-Min are killing these roles. A+++ acting all-round.

It took the first 10 mins of episode 12 for me to believe what happened at the end of episode 11. After the shock wore off, I was looking for something else to throw again lol

I don't know where the story is going either. I feel like an outlier because the amount of disbelief directed at Jin Kook is how I feel about Jin Kang. I'm amazed that the relationship hasn't turned me off from watching bc I'm legit engaged in what happens next.

Yes!!! I can't with some comments now, because he is in love now it somehow make him a good person and erase everything that happened before. Yes, he love her and want to please her, but it's not changing, it's just a start and for now he is hiding certain aspect of his personality from her and frankly lying to her.

Exactly. He hasn't changed or even decided to change. He said teach me. Was she not listening at all?

The number of people yelling at JKook for being unreasonable and losing it...it's like they forgot everything that happened with Seungh Ah and how MY admitted to contributing to her death (and possibly Mi-yeon's). Nobody's blameless in this but the amount romanticizing over MY is not a good look.

Clearly JKook has some psychotic breakdown but him calling MY evil is one of the truest things in this show, no one can pretend MY is savable after what he's done to Yuri. Sociopaths are borne not made, so he can have traumatic past, but all choices he made as an adult are on him.
I'm done with shows pushing narratives that true love of that one special woman will change bad men and that abs are more important than morals.

I agree. Stabbing one's way out of this is definitely not the way to go lol I still can't believe he did it.

I totally forgot that the stabbing was a thing until right before it happened.

Yes but the difference in the jdrama was that it was him replicating his own stabbing where the Japanese version of Yu Ri attempts to stab jdrama version Jin Kang while the pass each other crossing the street but he realizes what is going to happen and steps in front of his sister and gets stabbed himself I believe (it hasn't even been long since I watched it but my memories are fuzzy none the less). This scene got replaced with Yu Ri trying to Jin Kang over.

It's weird that I forgot about him replicating it cause I remember being shook by the whole thing lol. Like him attacking Japanese Moo Young was already shocking but him repeating what was done to himself made it really twisted.

Sorry for all the edits. I just wanted things to look nice/spacing things under spoiler cuts is a pain (they don't look the way you expect them to).

No problem :) I honestly just wrote it to get my thoughts out on this minor detail.

This episode was a trip to a crazytown:
- no one giving shit that policeman admit to attempted murder
- JinKang thinking that stabbing incident don't change anything in her relationships with MY and JK, she just need to lie to JK and that is it.
- doctor thinking that it is better for a kid to risk a deadly traffic accident than living with trauma
- and the fact that no one really looked for a child missing from hospital, wtf!

I was so confused about what the doctor was doing in those flashbacks. Like I legit didn’t understand what he was saying to Moo Young in the present that it was Moo Young’s last chance nor did I get why he was preventing Jin Gook from finding Moo Young back then.

After reading your summary of those scene I’m even more lost. It just isn’t believable that someone would behave like that to begin let alone go on to be this person that has been portrayed as someone who’s very compassionate in the present day.

this drama has been going from 50 to 100 these past eps but can't stop watching. The chemistry between the leads are intense, kinda reminded me of Chinese drama Mars level of desperation. So many things don't make sense (I believe a lot of people here already pointed out the WTF comments) but Jung So Min and Seo In Guk are killing it that Im just gonna go along with it regardless.

i think i need a little more time to get over the fact that there are no consequences (law-wise and relationship-wise) for Jin Kook after stabbing someone and even confessing to doing so...

I'm like weeks behind because I have no motivation, but I went to a Korean restaurant for dinner with a friend last week and they were playing ep 11 so I totally got spoiled for the stabbing because of my own laziness. I'm hoping to catch up by next week!

lol I love that they show dramas with stabbing on a restaurant. I go to Filipino restaurants and grocery stores and it's the same thing, and my white friends are like WTH
