Writer Melissa Scrivner-Love (Fear the Walking Dead) has set up a project in development: an action one-hour Strong Girl at the CW, with Ronda Rousey and Ben Silverman executive producing and Scrivner-Love writing and executive producing.

The CW’s Strong Girl, from CBS TV Studios, is an adaptation of a Korean format. It follows a former war photographer named Rayna who discovers she is indestructible and potentially the strongest woman in the world. Ghosted by her Spec Ops fiance when she reveals her newfound power to him, Rayna is hired as a bodyguard by a billionaire named Oliver, who sees her true potential.

Wrestler, MMA fighter and actress Rousey executive produces in her first foray into scripted television, alongside Jane the Virgin exec producer Silverman of Propagate Content.

Strong woman do bong soon was so good because it balanced drama and humor well, the lead male was the one chasing the girl, and the chemistry between Hyungsik and Park Bo Young.

I didn't realize people liked the original so much; I hated all the homophobic jokes and making light of domestic violence/the abusive mom. I also fastforwarded through all the gang stuff because it was so dumb and slapstick and such a tonal shift from the main serial killer plot (which was excessively violent imo). idk of all the kdramas to remake, I wouldn't have picked this one. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

well, if they can keep actors with chemistry but create a storyline that isn't a mishmash of cliched, offensive, tripe then maybe it'll be worthwhile.

I was a WB/CW type of girls for decades, but shit is not so fun the last few years on that channel.
