Ahhhh that first cover 😍 I like that song and her version is really nice, I felt more from the song with her vocals

I’m so confused why they don’t really utilize her in WSJN. She’s really pretty and can sing, I thought Korea eats that up. Does she not have much ‘personality’? (I don’t follow WSJN closely so I’m not sure if she’s outgoing or not) or does she just lack an it factor?

Mte. Its slowly getting better but a big reason I have a hard time getting into the group despite the songs being good is The distibrution - a few girls carry most of the song, which then makes me feel like the group has filler because it’s so big. I gotta ask - with this group having multiple vocalists, why is Dayoung prioritized so much? Is she a lot more stable vocally?

I’m worried about this with Loona too since they’re a big group too. I know they’re just getting started and want to promote the popular girls first but I’m hoping they don’t continue the unbalanced distibrution

I like all of the girls but it's honestly infuriating to see lead or sub vocals get a ton of lines AND screentime while dawon and soobin get consistently shafted (or at least for their last couple of cbs). Doesn't make sense to utilize their voices more.

Oh yea I def agree. I went to check whose labeled as main vocalist and Soobin and Dawon both are titled main, and I’m like uhhhhhh did they get changed to lead instead? Because their parts are small. Dayoung is labeled lead and she’s regularly ranked #2 in line distibrution

I watched a few videos and Soobin fares better than Dawon but yea the leads like Seola do better lately

For WJSN: Exy has often gotten the entire second verse just to herself alongside lots of song time for Yeonjung and now Seola really have been pushed forward. Even with 3 less members it was a bit of a mess.

With Loona I have my eye on the screentime/song time for the non Heejin 1/3 girls & Yeojin since the single was Heejin feat. OEC and YYxY

Yea that irritated me with Loona. The company took their time to introduce each girl with their own song and putting them into subunits, giving the impression that each girl is important. So for them to go down the typical business route of ‘hey these girls are more popular - push them first’ - I get it but it still rubs me the wrong way with the delivery.

With Hyunjin and Vivi they at least tried to give them camera time but I did feel Yeojin and our leader Haseul slipping away a bit.

I genuinely care about all 12 of them so seeing favorites picked is hard and given the abundance of lines Heejin had especially it would've been easy to throw the other 1/3 girls another one or two each.

Even if it is just in this capacity I do want more from her (open an Instagram Dawon and post covers!). I lowkey don’t think she is all that proactive. Her biggest solo endeavor was Girl’s spirit where she was middling at best (I still will never forgive whomever thought it was a good idea to have Yeonjung not only come on during her performance but completely dominate it).
She suffers from lack of popularity and no immediate solution to remedy it (Starship barely does anything with Yeonjung as is). Hopefully she can find her lane because her voice is lovely and she is a good performer (on stage).
