It's alright I'm not a fan of their MVs in general (I always find them quite lacking compared to other groups) but their songs don't grab my attention anymore; they haven't in a while It's still nice, but yeah
I liked it! The song has some elements I enjoyed but the finished result doesn’t satisfy me like What Is Love did for me earlier this year, but it’s a still fun track. Jeongyeon really shines here, she finally got some good lines :) Mina did great too, usually I like her to have less lines as she’s not my fav vocalists tbh but lately I’ve been enjoying her parts more.
I wish it was sped up a bit outside the chorus and The middle part with Momo, Mina, and Dahyun does nothing for me, I was getting into it and then that part comes up and kinda ruins it lmao. Especially Dahyun...Makes me think of Cheer Up where her part also was disappointing. But overall I like it, not a love but I really enjoyed their year in general so I’m not mad
Actually yea I’m glad you brought up the lyrics. They’re not my fav either, especially since I was stalked yesterday and recently dealt with a guy regularly trying to twist around my disagreements so He would get his way, those lyrics were quite off putting. If it was from a guy group I know I’d be annoyed.
I only liked the breakdown part. The rest of it can go to the trash. Finally found a song for Cheer Up to hang with in their worst songs tier.

what is love remains the superior generic bop is 2018. the song isn’t bad or anything. it’s hella catchy. the lyrics sort of turned me off from the song. the m/v is just eh? they’ve definitely had better m/v’s.
lastly, am i the only person who finds the dance really odd? they do really... interesting dance move? IDK how to describe it. the dance doesn’t really fit the song i gusss.

I feel like this is me too, regarding Twice (and also WJSN) songs. Like every release just makes me want the previous release instead, and when that release was out I actually didn’t really like it

i absolutely hate that part between 0:46 and 0:50. Whoever came up with it should be fired. Everything else is pretty nice so it's even worse that the first impression is so bad.

A small red flag went off in the back of my head once the first spoken word bit in the teaser came out, but I hoped it would be more cheeky (à la Pick Me) than forceful. This is a no from me.
Also it's very disconcerting to see some people admit that they're not really bothered by the lyrics since they're coming from a girl group and not a boy group. "I respect your choice but I reject your rejection" is easily one of the creepiest things I've heard in a song this year and it's being wrapped up in inoffensive pop song packaging. Get upset. This is yet another drop in the ocean of South Korea's rampant dating violence.
I prefer the song to the video which is unheard of when it comes to Twice (For me at least.)
My two faves (Jeong and Momo) got a lot of lines this time around. But I listened to the whole mini-album and it's kind of flat for a Twice mini. They usually have one or two b-sides that really blow the title track out of the water. But I'm a bit bored.
They choreo looks exciting so I'm ready for the stages.
The concept seemed good on paper, especially with the Halloween witch theme. But it didn’t feel so well put together. At least the girls have great hairstyles that are different this time!

I'm a big fan of the music video itself the set design and background animations are lush and definitely an improvement on some of the other vids they've done. the colour palettes calling back to their last halloween time vid is cute.
"I respect your choice but I reject your rejection" is killing me. omg they should have cut that. especially coming from a male songwriter -_-
it's nice to see their choreo being more energetic!
