Hyuna and E'Dawn reportedly leaving Cube Entertainment

On October 5, news outlet Ilgan Sports released a report stating that HyunA and E’Dawn will be leaving Cube Entertainment.

According to a source, HyunA is in the process of parting with the agency. HyunA is reportedly wrapping up her exclusive contract due to being unable to fix the conflict that resulted from the company notifying her about her removal without any discussion. The report claims that HyunA and Cube Entertainment are organizing cases of renewed advertisement contracts and balancing accounts.

A source from the music industry said, “HyunA was hurt after finding out from a news report about Cube removing her without any discussion. Cube’s board members have different opinions, but since it was deemed difficult to fix the conflict with HyunA, the atmosphere feels like they are concluding the contract. There isn’t a lot of time left in her contract, so they are naturally wrapping things up.”

The report further claims that HyunA has told her close acquaintances that she thinks her relationship with Cube is over now.

Previously, Cube Entertainment released an official statement about the removal of HyunA and E’Dawn from the agency on September 13. On the same day, the CEO released an official statement saying that nothing had been officially decided yet. The agency has yet to provide an update regarding HyunA’s and E’Dawn’s contracts.

The source seems a little sketchy and I'm not found of the title talking about both of them when E'dawn is barely mentioned in the article, but I want an update on them so much :(

I'm sure E'Dawn will be fine as a songwriter, he's really talented. I hope he gets signed somewhere he can write a lot for groups. (though it would also be nice to continue to see him as a performer). Hyuna will obviously be fine elsewhere as well.

Not surprised. This is def better for Hyuna, I'm looking forward to see where she's gonna sign up now.
I'm sad for Hyojong and Pentagon. I don't think we'll see him as a performancer anymore but I really hope he keeps his songwriting/production.

I'm still shocked at how Cube handled this entire scandal.
They made it worse than it should be. It could have been just another dating scandal, from any random ENT company.

Is this Cube's first dating scandal....in a very very long time?
