It’s Friday! Every week I go through the charts for this day in the past and post the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, check out who was on top for the 4th week of September 2012. The top three have already been posted already, so let’s see some live stages.


#3 Secret “Poison”
I still get this mixed up with “Madonna”. I always get surprised when it gets to the chorus and it’s not what I’m expecting lol. But I do slightly remember the awkward leg spread choreography. More crotch than I remember, actually.

#2 G-Dragon “Missing You”
This was personally my favorite song off of “One Of A Kind”. The original song features the vocals of Jaurim’s Kim Yoon Ah, whom I adore. But since she never performed it live, and I will totally accept IU in her place. Here’s the two of them at GD’s MOTTE in Seoul last year. I live for the grand bow and curtsey at the end lol. The two of them appearing in each other’s concerts last year was so much fun.

#1 Naul “Memory Of The Wind”
Oooh this song! So very easy to find covers of this song, and so hard to find a stage performance of this from Naul himself. There’s one video that looks like someone filmed it off their tv screen, with not the best visuals and audio. But it still has almost 7 million views cause both he and the song is so damn good. I found a fancam from a Brown Eyed Soul (Naul is a member of the group) concert with better sound.

#6 TVXQ! “Catch Me”
I remember this MV more than the song. This video and that choreo is still so amazing. They both look really good here too. I should really have this song on a workout playlist, I’ve really dropped the ball on this one.

#7 Mighty Mouth featuring Lyn “At Times Like These”
I don’t remember any of this, but the chorus is soooo pretty! I mean, it’s Lyn, so it’s not that big of a surprise. But she sounds great. The whole song is nice too, and the MV fits it well. It was the last song the duo released before Sangchu enlisted.

Missing you is one of my favorite GD songs!

The poison mini was really incredible, though I definitely re-arranged the tracks when listening to it. I miss Secret :(

I miss Jiyong so much. It's really surprising bc I dogged him all the time before he enlisted. But it turns out he was bae all along. I've never been affected at all by an idol enlisting and damn sure never missed any of them. But I really miss Jiyong.

A recent fan account said that they talked to his father and his father said his health and ankle are better now. Hopefully it's true. I feel like I worry about him and Seunghyun more than I miss them.

Hope it's true. His health(physically and mentally) was not good for a while.
Did you watch his new documentary? I saw clips but havent seen the whole thing yet.

I have seen it, it's really good. Very well done. The Bigbang MADE movie was part doc and part concert movie, but Jiyong's movie is a true documentary. He was so lonely and just seemed so alone too. And so exhausted. There was one part where he's taking to himself and he's like "just hold it together until the end of year".

But some sweet parts too, like he travels with a shoebox and ziploc bags filled with art supplies to paint with. There's a lot of that, painting and customizing things. Messing up so much Chanel lol. Creating things seems like a good release for him. There's also drunk Jiyong talking about how he and Taeyang became friends as kids lol.

I've only seen it once so far. Most of it made me sad, honestly. But i enjoyed seeing him with the other members. Daesung annoying CL lol. And Seungri guested in Japan and just directed his own stage lol. But you could tell how happy that made Jiyong. Like, just having Seungri there to take over things made him relax. I remember being so happy Seungri was there because Jiyong really needed it.

"Poison" is such a bop! I forget about it a lot, but I think it was the first Secret song I ever heard. I still really like it.

Secret!!! One of the first times I fell in love with secret, such a bop, and their mv production value had clearly skyrocketed since previous songs, which was a nice symbol of their success!! God I miss them.

Secret were the original dual concept group, alternating between cute and sexy concepts. I didn't really like their cute concepts but they seemed to be one of the more popular groups at that time and it's such a pity it all went down
