[Breaking] Cube Entertainment announces HyunA and PENTAGON E'Dawn have both been (essentially) kicked out of the company

On September 13, the agency revealed through an official statement, “Cube Entertainment has decided to remove HyunA and E’Dawn [from the company].”

The statement continues, “When managing our artists, the company has worked with faith and trust in each other as the main priority. After much discussion, the judgment was made that it is not possible to recover the faith with the two artists HyunA and E’Dawn, so their removal has been decided.”

“We sincerely thank the two artists and their fans who have been with us until now,” Cube Entertainment concludes.

WTF this is so damn petty. They're supposed to have their artists' back. I had such high hopes for the company after the new CEO and Cube concert but it's still a mess with the decisionmakers.

I feel so bad for them and Pentagon. They could have easily gotten over this but they've lost the trust of OT10 fans which is pretty much i-fans.

So now all of their original line-up artists have ended on messy terms. I think Cube felt confident enough to pull this since (G)-IDLE managed to blow up and Guanlin/Seonho's boy group can start promoting next year. Also Hong Seung-Sung has been battling his illness and Hyuna seemed to be the fave. I wonder what Jo Kwon thinks of this too, since she was his company BFF after he joined...
