SM: NCT China debut in the first half of 2019.

JYP: Lists out 4 unnamed new artists beside Chinese boy group Boy Story. Debut in 2018: Stray Kids, Korean girl group and Boy Story. Debut in 2019: Chinese boy group, Japanese girl group. Debut in 2020: Korean girl group.

YG: Boy group debut in the first half of 2019.

JYP seems well advanced for their new Korean girl group early next year (especially with Somi leaving, it usually means the line-up is getting fixed) so I can see this one, but I don't see the 2020 group starting then, they will have enough to do with three girl groups already! Last time they had three girl groups "active" at the same time, they struggled and only Twice remained so hmm. Good luck.

Wasn't NCT China supposed to begin this year?
And what about their new girl group? Another SM Rookie just left, she's oldest than most of the SM Rookies, I'm guessing they're fixing the line-up too. It would make sense to have them debut close to JYP's new girl group.

YG looking at their current artist line-up: "I know what's missing. Let's add another boy group!" lol. Knowing the company I doubt it will happen when planned.

I feel like YG is just annoyed nothing like Big Bang is happening again and not realizing back then the economy was dry so we just clung to what was available.

The sad thing is Winner had a big success, iKon had a big success... but I don't see YG really building on it? Tbf I'm also not really following these groups

Yea, I am so confused about iKon cause their music is SO GOOD and B.I and Bobby have mad presence... like... I mean... even I know who they are without trying to know them. YG is weird.

It's even their second time they have a big success lol I remember them being everywhere during their debut, then almost killed off by constantly being shipped away for touring money, then being successful again with Love Scenario... they have something, YG should really capitalize on it
And Winner managed to rise back from the ashes, they also have potential
I don't even follow them (and I stopped following Black Pink closely) but I'm still so frustrated from what I'm seeing lol

Same. Wish they would tell us more about NCT China tho. Right now twitter is going on about news of Chinese site that NCT is going to promote their song in october in a show but idk if is from a reliable source, if is their debut or the thing WW/Kun/Lucas went to record last week >

The YG one writes itself: we probably won't see those kids for 3 more years, at least. But, Big Bang is still out so I can see them throwing boy groups into promotion left and right trying to make some money instead of giving BP something to do, so maybe.

All I want is the new girlgroups. I doubt the 2020 one is going to happen, but is is dependent on how well the next group does (*remembers how many clung to the whole the rest of the SIXTEEN girls will debut in 2 years hopefully bit*)
Also I wonder what SM will do for the next gg. Red Velvet are pretty much in their prime so there is no need for a new group BUT like they are pretty much putting all the eggs in two baskets and the occasional other effort. SM wants NCT to really happen.

Add on: JYP being ready for success and having a game plan is really something after years of being labeled the weak point in the Big 3. If they maintain this wind I will be impressed

I would welcome a new SM GG. Red Velvet are still on top, but it really shows that SM consider them as their only active GG at the moment, they are always coming back and consequently look so tired (I couldn't enjoy Power Up's stages because of it, only Wendy looked like she had energy). Another girl group while Red Velvet are still at their prime would allow them to breathe a bit, plus give the new GG the time to find their fans. While f(x) had management issues, SM still managed to make them successful with Girls' Generation existing next to them, so I think two girl groups with a four year difference is possible. It's also maybe because they've been talking about a new GG for years now lol
And with Joy already acting + Wendy having many Station songs, I think Red Velvet could soon get into the phase of less regular comebacks and more solo promotions

Uh Winner and iKon are doing great but you still need to make them dominate. Bringing another boygroup will not help. YGE stays being flops.
