I know they have breaks because that's when they spam vlive but damn I feel like Twice are ALWAYS doing something. I feel for fans who buy everything they release, that's a lot of money. Honestly I wouldn't have minded a little more time after BDZ for them to have a giant comeback/change of concept like SNSD with The Boys, but I liked DTNA/BDZ so I'm in.

Anyway I'm looking forward to the Sixteen 2.0 group (even without Somi). Also I feel like I've read about a Japanese girl group for years I wonder if it will happen this time. I guess if they have enough trainees for two girl groups, they have enough for a real Sixteen remake? I would like something more like Stray Kids' show, all these eliminations on Sixteen were heartbreaking :') and I'm not sure it would be a good idea to mix the two line-ups in the same show.

The articles always talk about "season 2 of Sixteen" but apart from this, I haven't seen more details (like how many trainees or if there will ever be eliminations) so there's no way to know if it will follow Sixteen's pattern or be different

I know there are probably enough trainees for a season two, and maybe with big name Somi gone, they'd want to draw attention to them/their personalities, but I'm really hoping JYPE takes a road-to-debut-reality-show break.

Somi would have brought them immediate success but I feel like, in the long run, they're better off with moderately known trainees (like Ryujin) and a better focus on them. It's hard to manage a group where one member is a clear fave and everyone else is just kinda... there. Especially with JYP's experience with Suzy/Miss A. So a ready-to-debut show emphasizing on their team work (though even then I can see them pulling at least one meaningless elimination like Stray Kids) would be great.

Aren't people getting tired of elimination shows too? Mix9 flopped (though that's also because of YG/editing lol) and I don't think Produce 48 made as many waves as both Produce 101. Sixteen worked because there weren't so many eliminations shows, but so many happened since, they can't have the exact same concept

Yeah, even Stray Kids' show was airing the same time as the Unit and Mix9. People have had enough. Just release a docu-series about debuting and call it a day.

I haven't even finished my SNSD collection, which is exhausting/expensive in itself, but Twice's physical releases have so many different versions and so many releases to begin with, I gave up a long time ago lol

I'm pretty neutral re:Twice, but seeing the sheer amount of their goods vs how long they've been promoting is scary in so many ways. Took a ONCE friend to Shinjuku Tower records in August and they nearly lost their shit at all the merchandise. There are SO MANY CDs, I don't know how you guys cope.

As a snsd fan I am satisfied with managing to own a physical copy of Holiday Night and a Hyoyeon version of I Got a Boy. I have a few other of their physical releases but those two I'm most proud of

I managed to buy an I Got a Boy copy recently for the normal price, I just don't know which version I have haha (Hyo would be nice!). There are only two albums I've bought in two versions so far (Holiday Night being one of them) but at least the photoshoots are different and I don't feel bad. However, Signal had three copies but the same photoshoot, and Twicetagram had several versions with random photoshoots of three members only. I'm a collector freak but that made me give up on them haha I'll be happy to buy one album once in a while if I really like the packaging+songs.
I own quite a lot of albums by now and Twice's albums always come with a ton of stuff, I can't even imagine what their proper goodies are :')

The Hyo version is like an assault of color on the eyes, but in a very good igab way. I personally bought three Holiday Night albums, but picked the All Night version to keep, kept two of the posters and gifted the rest.

I was really overwhelmed by everything, but there were pins, badges, fans, plushies, lanyards and public transport card holders, from what I can remember. Like, very standard Japanese merchandise, just covered in Twice.

Yep half of Twice's albums are such cash grabs, the Twicecoaster Lane 1 Christmas edition had a different photoshoot but not even one new song (despite being re-released more than a month after) but it seems like all albums after Signal have different photoshoots, at least.
I think everything related to I Got a Boy is an assault of colour, I'm ready haha
