• the foundation is named 재단법인빛이나, or shiny foundation. the ceo is jonghyun's mother, lee eun kyung. a small foundation ceremony was held yesterday kst, september 6th, to launch it.
• though not directly mentioned in the post, this is the organization that was mentioned in the initial press release regarding where proceeds from poet | artist would be going to.
• they hope to both touch upon young artists going through similar to what jonghyun did, but plans to help out young artists who are going through difficulties in general.
• the foundation will be undertaking on a scholarship project together with art high schools in seoul where the main objective is to establish a psychological counseling center for young artists who are forced to go through hiding both their smaller and larger struggles during their public activities.
• there will be a festival held every year in december in jonghyun's honor. (some translations differ on this one, but it seems the festival will be art and music based.)
• in her speech for the foundation opening, jonghyun's mother stated that though it still hurts for her when she hears jonghyun's voice playing somewhere, she is thankful that there are still many who enjoy and share his music.
• the official youtube channel for the foundation can be found at the linked.

This is such a lovely way to commemorate jjong's life. I especially love that December will be a celebratory month even though it's sad and painful around that time for everyone involved.
I truly hope that his mom and sister find peace and happiness, they deserve the world.

Not going to lie, hearing about the festival in December made me have to stop for a second. It's going to be such a difficult month for his family and they're being so strong about this. I really admire them and everything they're doing to commemorate him and help others who are going through similar struggles.

Yeah I got about a minute into one of the comeback stages and had to quit. I didn’t expect to be so effected by his death and absence but here we are.

Truly incredible. They are amazingly strong women during this difficult time. I really think so highly of this, it is nice and comforting to know Jonghyun will still be celebrated and will get to help others even with his passing.

I still think about him often, more then I thought I would. Whenever I am outside at night I look for the moon and think of him. It is still hard and sad. I do like to listen to his music, I think it helps him to live on. At least for me. I understand not being able to listen.

You did well Jonghyun and you will continue to do well.

I have tears in my eyes. It's such a lovely project and way to honor him. I'm happy I had a really small part of this from buying Poet|Artist (that I've only heard twice so far, I think I'll go for a third listen tonight). I wish the center and festival will bring a lot of comfort to young artists, families, friends and fans

I love the name, I still get emotional when I think of the song but it's a lot better now that some time has passed. And it's wonderful that his mother can work on something so obviously close to her heart. Hopefully, they can continue to do some great work helping those who are struggling.
