Dok2 says he's leaving Korea

Rapper Dok2 is to leave his luxurious 430-square-meter hotel penthouse residence in Seoul and head to U.S. The bill for a night at hotel was close to 7 million won ($6,300).

"I am moving now. I think moving it is the most demanding thing to do on earth," wrote the rapper, 28, on his Instagram Friday.

He added, "Next year, I will reach my turning point as I become 30. As can be inferred from the track 'Cali Shine,' I will begin living in U.S. by the end of this year. This has been my dream since I was young."

The rapper and veteran singer Kim Bum-soo released "Cali Shine" in August.

Dok2, real name Lee Joon-kyung, also disclosed that his studio and some luggage would remain in Korea. "I will stage gigs and meet fans in Korea, so please do not worry," he said him. "I frequently visit the U.S. even now, so there will be only a minor change."

Dok2 was first known to the public after composing the music composing "Circus," for the Dynamic Duo in 2005. He has amassed his wealth through more than 300 songs.

Good for him if that's always were he wanted to be. I remember a translated headline (http://netizenbuzz.blogspot.com/2018/08/dok2-moves-due-to-stress-of-random.html) about people showing up and leaving things at his last place, so I understand the move and deciding to me more private this time.

haha, last time he moved into a hotel, he was posting IG stories about it.

It was always him panning around the room and a bunch of movers/staff putting his stuff in different rooms for him. Ah, the struggle. But yeah, he probably means mentally.
