Yay, the half of CocoSori I actually care about :)
I like the song, it’s nothing new but it’s pleasant to listen to! I had a range of emotions watching the MV though, I was really enjoying the aesthetics of parts in the MV but then there were other shots that just made me uncomfortable since it was all about male gaze. But overall I’m glad she released a song, I really like Sori :)
The song is nice and I like the Orange hair on her, but this super-sexy-but-also-I'm-making-the-same-shocked/surprised-face is not working for me.
I just don't get why she went so hard on the sexy concept when the song doesn't really need it. Those closeups were too much. She said, "I thought a lot about what I needed to show. I watched a lot of videos of famous international solo artists, and I realized that being sexy is important for solo artists. I tried to bring out that sexiness as a solo artist." But, she's not an international solo star. I get she usually has quirky concepts and wanted to change it up, but this along with how she's been around for a while and not really popped is just going to read as desperation to most.
I hope we can get live version with everyone in those suits. Although, her dancers outshine her sometimes.
What a weird MV LOL it kind of reminded me of Dua Lipa's New Rules and the part where she was falling off the building was definitely just from that Ariana Grande music video. So weird
