Why do people think SM will boycott this?

I think just for NCT SM cannot boycott this. I have a feeling NCT China will either debut at MAMA HK or around that time.

i wouldn't say boycott as much as sm not sending their biggest contender and the one that brings in the crowd as a warning.

also dream's first comeback stage is gonna be music bank (as it's been for red velvet and d&e), so something is definitely up if you ask me.

people are talking something must have happened between mnet and sm because red velvet and d&e didn't have their comeback stages on mcountdown and this will also be the case for nct dream. we can only wait and see if the "trend" will go on with snsd unit and exo, but I wonder if this will affect the mama attendance. not having exo... ouch.

Thise three locations make more sense...they are kinda close to each other, means artists will acutally come, and have experience with Mnet.
Also, netizens have complained a lot about the award show not being held in Korea...
