Jinyoung was asked to read it at Seoul’s International Book Fair 2018 in June (first mentined in this post). They released some of the chapters (why not all of them and not in order I do not know) in an audio/video playlist today for purchase on vlive.

If you click on the link in the tweet it brings you to where you can purchase the "audiobook" by either paying 600 coins or purchasing those coins for $12. Each chapter is a separate video in a vlive playlist. It comes with english subtitles.

The Little Prince (French: Le Petit Prince; French pronunciation: [lə pəti pʁɛ̃s]), first published in April 1943, is a novella, the most famous work of French aristocrat, writer, poet, and pioneering aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

SUMMARY: In this enchanting, allegorical tale, the narrator is a pilot who has crash-landed in a desert (similar to Saint-Exupéry's actual crash in the Sahara desert in 1935), and while trying to mend his crashed aircraft he is interrupted by a small boy who asks him to draw a sheep.

omona, have you read The Little Prince?
I don't know if the book is familiar to everyone, in Europe it's quite famous at least. It's been a while since I've done it but I remember it was one of my favorite books I read as a kid, I have such fond memories of it. It's amazing they included eng subs as well. There was a link for the full audiobook in Korean I think, but I do not know Korean or how to navigate that site soooo.... someone smarter than OP can maybe figure that one out.

You only get probably 20 % about the book. It's mostly about the people affected by the Little Prince.

This remind me about my own story with The little prince and Harry Potter, lol.

Some mother of one my younger sister's friend tought it was a good idea to gift The little prince to my sister for her birthday when she was like 8 years old or something like that. The thing is that the 10 years old me grabbed the book as soon as I saw it the next day and my sister never even atempted to read it and she is almost 30 now, lol.

Years later, in a desperated atempt by my father to make my sister read, he bought the first book of Harry Potter because he heard in the radio that it made many kids start reading. Well, guess who read the book in one day and who haven't read it up until now? lol.

I read the book as an adult and maybe I was just dense but there were some symbols that I couldn't quite figure out. Some said I shouldn't try too hard and just enjoy the story as it is, but I couldn't do that because the entire book consists of symbols and metaphors and ignoring their meaning would make the story a kind of vague, nonsensical adventure. Maybe if I read it as a kid I wouldn't think about it too hard and could even enjoy the vagueness, but it was impossible for me to do as an adult.

Not sure if people here remember but The Little Prince is also the theme of Super Junior Ryeowook's first solo album a few years ago called, well, The Little Prince. The MV included some animations inspired by the book's illustrations.

When I was younger I read the second book. It took me until 2015 to actually read the first book. I really loved it. (Although it made me cry so much.)
