I've had my eye on her, Vivi & Haseul since the others are more prominent in the line distribution. like Maybe OEC, Chuu & Heejin shouldn't have second or third lines before they get at least one decent one?? LOL
I did the same lol I'm still so bitter about the line/screen distribution! I understand the need to push popular members forward for their debut, but BBC could have handled it better. At least it's better live TT
Like either Vivi or Haseul went without a single line in favOriTe and Hyunjin has two half lines. I get pushing Heejin as the center since she's the most popular of the unit but COME ON - at least the other girls get one to two decent lines each.
It's an interesting thing to see the full debut because I adore all 12 so those getting shafted makes me feel a way so sure - Heejin, OEC & Chuu getting extra makes sense (popularity/vocals) but Heejin could have 3 lines instead of 5 so her other 1/3rd members can get a line in somewhere right? But we're still ironing out the kinks as a full group so I have faith.
I think I'm even more bitter because, so far, they've been able to give decent solos to every member, even weak vocalists like Vivi or Hyunjin (granted, there are probably some ghost vocals in the mix lol but still!). The transition from individual/unit promotions to full group (twelve being a laaarge group) was always going to be difficult, but I expected them to find a decent balance around all the voices/personalities like they did for two years. Anyway I've followed enough groups to be used to it by now lol hopefully it won't take long for them to correct it!
that's definitely another factor. like I know Hyunjin and Vivi aren't the vocalists Chuu or the other girls are so them getting less makes sense. But still - give the girls one decent line & some decent screen time please? LOLOL
I'm so proud of them! They really did well. I like the choreo for Hi High, it's fun and I like how it gives memorable moments to members who otherwise don't have a lot of lines and the references to solo choreos. Yves hugging Yeojin + the height difference was so cute haha. They all look so comfortable compared to the units debut stages! And it's so cool that they performed a bside for their debut performance, even if it was shortened! I wish the favOriTe outfits weren't school uniforms but I expected their use. Hi High's outfits are cute, I hope they'll keep changing colours until they did all twelve!
The choreography highlighting the members that didn’t get much lines is really nice, and I agree about comfortable they are on stage - they’re already charismatic and I think that long pre-debut paid off since I’m not getting newbie vibes from this at all.

I think gaining experience was the whole point of the subunits (which weren't announced when Heejin dropped her solo), but even Yeojin did well and it's her first music show stage!

it is tbh. I was expecting it to me slightly more put together since they've had some really clean choreo in the unit and solos. 12 is a lot of people.
No way, WJSN's choreos are tragic and manage to underuse the members and look too crowded at the same time (only DCT was decent enough). Seventeen is better but that could be due to them designing their own choreos
This! WJSN's choreos are pretty much just them standing in the same line or literally standing still for a whole verse while just like 4 members are in the center or sth.
this made me like the song more! they really performed with a lot of energy. I wasn't expecting this level of cute from them which I'm not a huge fan on on a grand scale with 12 members but I guess this is what BBC is selling us :/

Hi High continues to be a bop. They were great on stage and I could see Hyunjin and Haseul! But I wish they wouldn't break off into separate groups while dancing. I get they wanna show off the subunits but I wanna see them all go off at the same time.
And I actually really like all the different formations they have in the choreo, if you have 12 people in your group you better milk the heck out of it.
yeah, the ott cutesy aegyo-vibe of hi high is a big No for me. some of the gestures in the choreo was just too much. still boppin out to the song tho
putting them in school uniforms was all in all a bad choice, but idg why they had to be so basic and ill-fitting as well? the skirts look like they are supposed to reach to the waist but instead it's around the hipbone, it looks weird
i only watched hi high and im so happy that the majority of fanchants were by women and also there was no upskirt shots! thank god! also the choreography is good, i really enjoyed it
this is an awesome debut - reminds me a bit of snsd when they first started with the amount of energy/charisma they have on stage. also the fanchants really do add to the ~atmosphere~
They did great! i love the energy and i'm addicted to Hi High! also hoping they perform with the denim outfits from the video, i like that they are all different but unified at the same time, would also love to see them wearing their official colors or something related to their animals <3
