SHA SHA's Wanlin rushed to hospital after fainting during comeback showcase

SHA SHA held a comeback showcase for their second single album “What The Heck” on August 23. This was their first comeback since three members had departed from the group in July, and the three new members, Hakyung, Chaki, and Wanlin, were excited to introduce themselves.

Near the end of the showcase, Wanlin suddenly lost consciousness and fainted while on stage. Some of the other members burst into tears as they were shocked by what had happened and were unsure of what to do. MC Ding Dong helped as staff members rushed to the stage to tend to Wanlin.

The showcase was quickly wrapped up as Wanlin was rushed to the hospital. A source from SHA SHA’s agency stated, “Wanlin has not been well since this morning. However, she expressed a strong desire to stand on stage despite not feeling well.” Explaining that the added nerves of the showcase possibly exacerbated her condition, the representative continued to state that they will be providing an update to her condition after she has been examined by doctors at the hospital.

I was thinking the same thing. Don't know if I'm overthinking, but I am really disturbed at the way he held her at 0:18 and how he pushed her group members away, like wtf....... That poor girl :/

yes exactly, no i don't think you're overthinking it because i reacted and feel the same way, it's so disturbing!
also very rude to the group member, she ran away so quickly almost like she expected him to hurt/hit her (which wouldn't surprise me tbh)

The mc was really too rough and could have handled it better, but imo he looked like he was in panic and that's why he behaved like that? He started shouting for water immediately and just seemed out of waters with everything.

it's like the MC was thinking about how he would look in the pictures or something, like really distraught and the only one caring for her?? it was really, really bizarre and disturbing. hope she's ok! I can't imagine standing on a stage and being so sick/tired to faint. she didn't seem like just collapsed and came to when she fell, like she seems limp and totally out :/

The way the MC (his name is ding dong? Seriously?) was handling the situation is really questionable. It's like he has never seen or heard how to treat an unconscious person. Pushing the other members' hand away and shoving her face in your crotch?

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he was shocked and didn't have any ill intentions.

In the full showcase version you can see that she was already trembling and holding onto her members arm during the interview.

tbh i was like ???? reading the comments but then watching the video it's like wtf???? how is that even remotely rational way to handle someone who has just fainted? That whole putting her face in his crotch was just... wow. And then to push the other girls away, like sir how about no.

i hope she's ok.
