Said this in the ONTD post but I see both sides of the reaction on this? Had I not read that 'darkest concept yet' comment then I wouldn't have an expectation so putting that aside it's very fresh, fun & energetic. The darker style international fans isn't automatically something the public on Korea will and they have to think about them primarily.


Line distribution was better but heejin STILL had too much and Hyunjin & Haseul need more. I like this but get why people wouldn't as well and yes - the upskirts/butt shots are a no.

Musically I really like it! It's a bit frenetic but uplifting, and there are bits of all subunit in it. A good debut song for me. The line distribution is just as bad as favOriTe though, it's again the same 6 members lol. I wasn't expecting the subvocalists to have many lines haha but Haseul could def have more.
Visually it's beautiful, nice colours and scenary. I feel like the Loonaverse references were more subtle than in Egoist so it wasn't distracting from the main (simple) plot of them getting together.
The BIG downside is upskirt shots AGAIN. It was better from Yves to Gowon but they're back at it since OliviaHye and they still have a lot of minors... I'm tired

The line distribution is so much better than favOrite so that's a plus.
Heejin and Kim Lip still had a lot of lines. I knew that Lip was gonna be a main vocal but I didn't think she would be pushed that much, lol. I'm glad JinSoul isn't rapping so far and is singing. I feel bad for the rest of the girls tho they are being paid DUST compared to the vocalist. I feel like even WJSN has better line distribution (everyone at least has one line usually, except Happy and Catch Me) and there's 13 of them.
Like they aren't even thrown a bone, lol.
At least the center isn't Heejin ONLY.

It was very pretty and stuff and now I'm just even more confused I need someone to explain it to me. Or I can just watch it like 19x to make sense of it all.

I like the idea of their debut being called 'hi high' as if they were saying 'hi/hello' to their audience (even if the lyrics don't match that idea) but the song itself doesn't do much for me. It is however very new audience friendly.

As for the MV, it's not one of their best. And again (as in basically every loona MV) there is way too much upskirt shots.
I get that they're trying to make the walking/running away into a loona thing but some of these are just plain gross.

The imagery of them jumping off roofs doesn't sit well with me either, but that might just be personal to me

Hmm. The teaser sounded really good but this? I like the upbeat and “frantic” sound (for lack of better wording) but the song is ok. There are some parts I like though so I hope it will grow on me (esp since I preordered both copies of the limited edition versions LMAO). Also I thought we we decided we were over awkward English intros after grimes’s but oh well. I’m excited to listen to the whole album when I get hope though!

So it was Olivia and not Yves the girl that was running aroung the OEC trio in the Loonatic MV? On the other side it was nice seeing those two making up. Hope their subsequent comebacks keep the "loonaverse" lore and such, since we're still due for the yyxy repackage (?)

Anyways other stans are free to beat themselves over the MV if they want to please the concern trolling in this post, but I personally love it, the MV is perfect with all the references to previous videos, the song is perfect, I wouldn't change anything about anything, and I can't wait to see more.

I do want to change one thing and that is BBC should've really done a live streaming of LOONAbirth :c

I actually kind of love this song (though I looked up the lyrics and wow... cringe). But uh, can my girl Hyunjin get more lines? I know she's not a powerhouse vocal or anything but come on. This is all starting to sound like Heejin, Kim Lip, and friends (I haven't listened to the EP yet so maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised with better line distribution).

Super underwhelming for a debut. I like the instrumental, it reminds me of a video game but their voices are way too shrill. And Haseul didn't even get 2 seconds of lines wtf.

Both favorite and this song have this really annoying quality but in favorite's case it's catchy. I don't even remember what this song sounds like after listening to it.
