Cast of new variety show "Pajama Friends" confirmed

On August 17, a global contents brand Lifetime announced their newest creation “Pajama Friends,” alongside its 4 MC’s. To host the program, they casted actress Song Ji-Hyo, model Jang Yoon-Jung, Red Velvet’s Joy, and WJSN’s Cheng Xiao. They have selected 4 individuals from 4 different fields, hoping to create a vast array of talking points and topics throughout the show.

Lifetime is an American television channel that features programs geared toward women or featuring women in lead roles. The channel has always aimed to create lifestyle programs that address a societal issue incorporated with entertainment, such as “Dance Moms” and “Project Runway.”

Moreover, they launched their channel in Korea last October and has since showcased various programs under their slogan “Joy of Finding Myself,” including “Idol Mom,” and “Man vs. Child” Korea.

This time, they have joined forces with producer Kim Joo-Hyuk and Yong Seok-In to create “Pajama Friends” – a variety show that no one has ever seen before. Through this program, Song Ji-Hyo will reunite with producer Kim, who once showed off a great chemistry with the actress on SBS “Running Man.”

Meanwhile, “Pajama Friends” will start filming in August, and aims for a premiere the following month on Lifetime channel.
