- They are not mad that he's dating Hyuna, they are angry because he didn't tell them about it unlike Hyuna
- They are mad that Triple H was created so they both could spend more time together while in front of their fans
- Believe that there are "complicated parts in the K-pop industry that international fans will find hard to understand", "It's not that we are falsely thinking that we have a chance to date them or something, or they are possessions of ours"
- Claim that fans love them for their image, and dating damages said image
- Want to know if he received consent from the other Pentagon members to date Hyuna

Honestly, if pentagon had been a more senior group or edawn was a soloist or w/e, it might not have been as bad

Also, i havent seen any comments pointing out the slight power imbalance of their relationhip -- i guess its not a concern?

I clocked the power imbalance part of this when it came out. Like she's practically an executive at Cube, she's in a very high position in the company and she started to date him in 2016, when he was still a trainee. Hyuna hasn't done much to indicate that she'd abuse that position of power but it is there.

Moreso than dating a junior, I think pushing to create a subunit with her boyfriend was the most questionable thing they've done. The entire subunit was basically made for them with Hui tacked on and essentially a way for them to date publicly while secretly at the same time. It's just kind of a questionable business decision imo because if they ever broke up, that sinks the entire unit.

I mean, outside of dating their relationship seems comfortable and their ages are not too far apart, but if the situation had been reversed, i feel like there would have been more scrutiny about it. && it might be just me, but i think hyuna could potentially go on promoting w edawn even if they broke up -- they seem to click professionallly enough that way

ofc I don't know the truth lol but hyuna doesn't look like someone who would push a business decision just to stay with her boyfriend or something along this.. I do think cube whole goal with triple has always been promoting pentagon using hyuna. they tried to spin this and create a "we've always been close through music" to justify, but we all know it was to promote their rookie group. I also think cube at first imagined it as a one-time thing and didn't plan to have comebacks and work as a proper group.

but ita that the fact that they were dating since before that make this whole situation more complicated for cube to deal with. they were really playing with fire.mp3

I think them being only 2 years apart in age and him being 22 when they said they hooked up makes it less sketch that he was a trainee just about to debut.

I thought of the power imbalance stuff but then told myself I was overeating/being too critical and to just be happy for them. Idk I honestly try to gage how "normal" my reaction is by comparing it to others and no else seemed bothered so I let it go.

Plus I like them both somewhat and wanted to support them being happy together.

Edit: Honestly this reply is kind of why I don't comment much. I just over do it with everything including laying out my own thought processes 😩 Sorry for filing your inbox with all this.
