As always HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MY ONE AND ONLY GIRLS, MY TRUE KPOP LOVES. Despite SM's shenanigans last year with the album and the contracts, the past year has shown that everyone has gone into the right direction. As a fan, it makes me feel incredibly fortunate to see that after years of sacrifices in the Kpop industry they are happy, healthy and glowing. Everyone is still keeping in touch and being supportive of each other, which isn't always a given with groups on hiatus. Can't wait for the new album!

It’s not as easy as just dropping Sica’s name whenever they feel like it, not even for the ones that left SM if they ever want to work using Soshi’s name.

Jessica was mentioned not to long ago by a guest in on of Sunny’s shows, but her name was edited out by the editors. Fans somehow managed to dig up the unedited version where Sunny acknowledges Sica’s inclusion.

Wow, sorry for any misunderstandings I might have caused earlier today. I saw multiple clips (from different sources) of this “Video Star” broadcast where the mention of Jessica was removed.

I know it doesn’t sound like much, but these are the lenghts SM goes to, to erase Sica from existence that even this little thing (or watching the girls slip in a 9, liking a pic, seeing and OT9 picture in their homes) makes Sones lose their shit. She is still being blocked, what do you think SM would do if they’re suddenly chummy all over again after all the effort the company made to shit the blame of the breakup on her?

I love them so much. They’re what got me into kpop and I’m SO excited we are getting a subunit.

I was fully prepared to not get anything until 2019 or we would get another station single like Sailing but aismissizjs.

The fact that they have lasted this long is amazing and I’m glad SM is calling it a sub unit so people can finally stfu about girls’ generation being disbanded.

But really I am interested. I was on the SNSD is over train but that’s because how Holidays comeback was handled I was sure it was over for them, so this gives a slight glimpse of hope. I’m glad SM is referring to this current state of the group as a subunit because calling them GG with only 5 members (and your vocal line basically bouncing, though I give Yoona credit I think she’s really improved over the years) is a joke

I guess SM realises how much they needed their cashcow, and the contracts are looking to have what the girls wanted now (albeit not a full group comeback, which one can only hope will come one day). I'm looking forward to what style they're coming with because TTS they are not, I just want a bop that suits their style and is not cutesy

And I agree, please nothing cutesy. I mean they’re literally close to 30 yrs old, since they’re still in the game I’d love to see them with veteran group Brown Eyed Girls style. Or with Hyoyeon and Yuto releasing dance/electronic music, I wouldn’t mind them going further into that route.

When I found kpop I was a girls group girl and SNSD were my girls! ;_; Their music helped me through some troubled years and when I look back I have fond memories because of them :') Happy anniversary girls!
