In 2009, we saw extreme fans show their love to their idols by writing their letter in blood. Looks like the trend has not died yet, but it returns again in 2010.
Disclaimer: The following image is not suitable for children or those with a weak stomach.

Normal fans would send pictures, perfumes, dolls, food and regular letters. Some of these fans want to express themselves better and the way they like to impress their idol is through the bloody fan letter. By professing their love through blood, fans want to show just how much deep their love flows.
To write this letter the fan had to slit different areas of her arm. The letter reads, "Wonder Girls, please come back."
The Wonder Girls fan remarked, "I did this for my Idol group, you other fans did nothing compared to me."
Although the fan may try to show that she is doing more, is she actually? Netizens have attacked the fan saying, "This person is crazy. I can't understand why you would do that."
One anonymous idol member spoke out about the issue of bloody letters stating, "Please don't give us presents. We are happy when they come, but it's sort of a burden. What would be better is a letter filled with your sincerity."
Please take the idol member's word to mind before you think of doing something rash yourself and send heartfelt letters instead of these bizarre bloody letters. A sincere letter is better received than a possessive bloody letter to show that you are a true fan.

and the idols receiving these letters...
and is it just me or did the girl fail to spell "come back" right? XD
she forgot the "r" and then put it in on top...
I would think if you were gonna spend blood to write something, you'd have it planned out. no joke though.

Date: 2010-01-09 10:41 am (UTC)Go donate your blood if you're that willing to waste it. Some person needs that blood. And use your idols name so when they call you and they say,"Kim Junsu." You feel like you've given them your blood but in the normal not so creepy, kind of still is way.
jfc go study or something.
