Lyrics are a bit cringy but overall this is pretty alright? I like this kind of inoffensive RnB and Jay has a nice tone as a singer.

I am not going to mention the lyrics but at least he is singing and I love his voice. It wasn't bad like the Soju or the other song. I like style of this it suits him much better then rapping. NOW can I get his other songs in English and don't mess them up!

i wanted him to release eng versions of his korean songs so i'm happh he actually did cause i really love yacht (kor ver). this version is alright but i hate how he used his voice on this one. i get why he did it but i dislike it and it disrupts the flow. vic's part was too long with some cringy lyrics.

i stan hard for jay but yeah yacht korean version >>> english version. jay's korean lyrics aren't that much better in terms of cringe but at least his flow sounds better than when he's singing/rapping in english. part of me loves him for his cringey lyrics but if he really wants to ~break~ into the mainstream english music industry he needs to work on only making music that's meant to be in english. constantly switching between korean and english when making music can't be doing him any favours in terms of improving his lyricism.

this just makes me really curious about the differences in making music in english vs. your second language. you'd think that jay's english stuff would sound better since english is his L1. i guess he's more accustomed to making music in korean, thus it fits the flow of the language better. i didn't mean to make my comment so long OTL
