On July 9, f(x)’s Luna received a rookie award at the 12th Daegu International Music Festival for her participation in musical “Rebecca.” This is the first award she’s received since she started her career in the musical industry.
On July 11, the singer shared a brief award acceptance speech on Instagram. She said, “my first rookie award since debuting in the musical industry 8 years ago. It’s especially meaningful since you can only receive the award once in your life. I will work harder and never let you down! I thank all my friends, seniors and colleagues, and my friends for their support and congratulations. Thank you.”
Meanwhile, Luna is currently performing in the musical “Gone with the Wind” as Scarlet O’Hara at the Charlotte Theater in Seoul. The musical will take place until the 29th.
Besides Luna, VIXX’s Ken was also granted with a rookie award. Furthermore, Shin Sung-Rok, Ahn Jae-Wook, and Yoo Joon-Sang received awards as well.
