The student film aesthetic and the pale, outwashed makeup on the girls is really unsettling to me but I like the song a lot.

...uh. i would normally be all for this, but there was such a jarring contrast between what the song was abt and the subject matter of the mv. it just felt a bit random and confusing bc they didn't have anything to do w each other at all. the tone of the mv was also very inconsistent, it felt very melodramatic at times in a way that came across as a bit trivializing imo. the fact that men seemed to be behind it as well rubs me the wrong way
