Synopsis: Narcissistic Lee Young Joon, the vice president of a company run by his family, is very self absorbed and thinks highly of himself, so much so that he barely acknowledges the people around him. Lee Young Joon has a capable and patient secretary in Kim Mi So who has remained by his side and worked diligently for 9 years without any romantic involvement. When Mi So decides to resign from her job, hilarious misunderstandings ensue. After 9 years of their strictly-workplace relationship, can it now develop in something more?

Episode 7 actually got some laughs out of me. Barely remember what happened in 8 other than the kiss. Over the traumatic past plotline.

I replayed the kiss like 10 times. After all that back and forth and tension it felt so good finally seeing Mi So recognize her feelings. Although the kidnapping plot is dragging a bit and tbh I don’t think it was even necessary for this show. It also feels like a cop out to me. How convenient they were the two little kids locked up, and Young Joon then remembers her years later and hires her as his secretary; because “Love.” It also brings up the question of when was he planning to tell her, if ever? I mean it’s been 9 freaking years and it’s all coming to head now only because she said she was gonna quit. Idk meng I would have preferred if they just didn’t know each other prior and he fell in love with her while they worked together.

Speaking of uneccessary, can the older brother be deleted. Some of the most stiffest and wooden acting I’ve ever seen. It’s even more blatant when everyone is acting circles around him yet we’re supposed to believe he’s an actual threat to the main couple? I don’t think so. Not even wooden acting valedictorian Joy served a performance this stiff.

mte at the brother. Are we suppose to buy that he’s any type of threat to the main couple? He has no game/acting skills and is taking up too much camera time. The fact that Joy could probably act circles around him is...sad.

To be fair, it's tough to impress when the only two people he interacts with are Park Seojoon and Park Minyoung, who blow most other lead actors out of the water (fight me) and have great chemistry together. Plus the role is 1 dimensional and he's woefully miscast as the oldest of the trio when that actor is born in like... 1995? I think? And you can get away with so much by being pretty (and boy is pretty and broad shouldered...mmmmm).

Why can’t two adults meet and fall in love. Does every story have to involve people who met at 5 then became soul mates. And I hate how it romanticizes friendships between children.

I’ve been on the fence with the drama the past few epsiodes but I have to say I actually LIKED these last 2, like seeing the coworkers together outside work, liked seeing MiSo acknowledging her feeling, was all round cute.
HATE seeing her run/strut in her feels, looks so painful her poor feet just slapping against the tiles! Also hate the story line about the guy with the one suit, who cares???? Acting like it would ruin his career

I like it! it is my love for the leads! who I think are very good actors and have mad chemistry. oh the plots is he the kid or not? who was the bullied?
