KPOP concerts are some of the biggest stage shows in music. It's why tickets are so expensive but totally worth it! SME usually has between 6 to 8 acts running full concert tours throughout the year and each show is uniquely built for that artist and their fans.

Here are a collection of show stopping concert moments (not a best of by any means) from the DreamMaker/Avex/SM teams:

The concert was streamed live on Line and a DVD was released you can watch some of it here the making of doc is really interesting because they talk about how challenging the 360 design is and building a show around having very few hiding spots. had some amazing moments/carry over form this show I hope if he's feeling up to it he can continue with that tour.

Exo are no stranger to using water in their concerts, their stage of Baby Don't Cry during Exo Planet 2: Exolution is probably one of the best numbers they've ever done. It's simple and emotional and the water element was a complete surprise. this stage literally was what made me stan

exordium's nods to their superpowers will never not be my fave and its easily their best stage show

SNSD's Phantasia Tour - Cyborg Creator Machine

They used projects a lot during this show which was really cool but seeing this roll out on stage was something else. The element of suprise for where each member will be is really fun.

DBSK/TVXQ!'s Entire ～Begin Again～ Nissan Stadium Show

This whole show is show stopping: flying members, fire, fireworks, water features, enormous crowd, huge staging to cross and perform on and the show was outdoors in the rain. my faves could never tbh

It kind of sucks (yet also understandable bc of the different locations) that they kind of lose some of the effects when EXO toured in NA. Like we didn't get any of the water effects or anything like that. However, it's EXO so of course the concerts were still lit. White Noise was my favorite performance from Exordium. XDD

Also, I'm going to Elyxion Dot in Korea this July - my first EXO concert outside of the US and my first time in Korea in general. I'm so nervous yet excited at the same time. Also, it's monsoon season there right now but that won't stop me from trying to party. LOL

yea cost is a huge thing with bringing shows internationally :( that water feature would have been really cool but tickets would have been 3x as much. I'm saving to go see them in Asia when I can because the show's are at their full potential!

Imo, nothing will ever beat Soshi's Diamond entrance for their 2011 Tour. Tell Me Your Wish echoing thorughout the arena was epic.

I also really enjoy the joint concert where Sones took up the majority of seats, but modified their lightsticks to match the fandom colors of all the groups that attended and cheered like crazy for them as well. It's how kpop should always be.

For non Soshi performances, I love SHINee's Evil and that one 2PM Heartbeat performance at a year end awards show.

I love Japan concerts. Its usually very extravagant and mind blowing because they have the money, audiences and space to do all the effects.

TVXQ's concert reminds me a lot of Arashi's Kokuritsu concerts. Too bad I'm not a fan of their music or else I can watch the amazing concerts since they certainly work hard on it.

Post this again to show how fantastic Taem can sounds live :P

He does sound really good in the concert. I'm obsessed with the ballads songs he did there lol. I'm really astonished with his growth. Its hard to believe he is the same mushroom boy from 2008. 8D

i'm pissed that sm is probably never going to release a concert dvd for jonghyun, lol. he did four concert tours - literally over twenty concerts alone last year, and double that combined between late 2015 - late 2017 and yet... you know. he didn't have many super fancy technical performances at his but focused more on simplicity and fan interaction. one of the best, imo:



+ anything that he did that involved playing instruments with fans: kazoos, handbells, castanets, etc. everyone i know who was lucky enough to attend his concerts always have gone on to me about how amazing of a performance he put on.

i've only seen shinee live, last year in los angeles, and it was an amazing concert despite the fact that they kind of had to level it down to fit a smaller venue. i'd love to see taeyeon (or soshi but you know), f(x), exo, tvxq and red velvet though.

nope, sadly. it's never been confirmed officially (and won't ever be) but it's pretty well-known within fandom that the person who producer / directed / conceptualized the video ripped the idea for a western artist. when the teaser for the mv dropped a few people pointed it out and most think that got back to sm and they decided to pull it from being released. there's a few snippets of the vcr, which is basically the same thing but edited, floating around on youtube but nothing hq.

going to a japanese TVXQ concert is #2 on my bucket list, #1 is going to japan...and i'm saving for that, hoping I can get into one of the last dates of their 2018/19 japanese tour...been a fan since 2005 and haven't been able to see them yet :(

I've only been to two kpop concerts in my life: bigbang's made and exo's exordium, both in mexico city.

bb was amazing, and tbh the crowd made it even more amazing. mexico was certified by almost all the band six's members and GD as the loudest/most energetic/the best show of the MADE world tour... so, it was a big deal to us lol.

exo was just nuuuuutsssss. even louder than bb's show. it didn't have any fx going on, but that opening with MAMA was incredible, i ended up speechless after that. and the tree of life, omg. loved it.

let's just not forget the amazingness that is white noise / playboy / artificial segment, i died like x1000000 everytime kai got closer my heart was beating soooo fast. overall, it was an amazing concert, and they had their first technical failure of the tour: the sound stopped at the middle of "transformer" lol bless them, they kept going until suho was like 'naw bish, we ain't doing this tonight'. tbh I just went because I wanted to see yixing and he endeded up canceling a month away from the show... i was pissed lmao, kai was my only hope and he delivered.

the production for tvxq's japanese shows is just on another level, they truly are THE gods.
keep your head down @ nissan stadium has none of their usual extravaganza but it holds a special place in my heart because you can just feel their power, it gives me goosebumps every single time:



exordium was that bitch and i'm forever bitter that i couldn't experience it live. i feel like exo don't give much of a fuck anymore about anything that's not their concerts/events for their fans and i support that. their shows are always fun and they're really charming in their own special way.
i'm saving up to hopefully get a global package for their next concert because the e word is dangerously close and i need to see them live at least once in all their glory.

I saw shinee in concert last year that was a religious experience 👏 I still wish I got closer seats I was so excited my legs gave out lol and the concert didn't even start yet
I've always wanted to see dbsk, boa, exo, and snsd live but they haven't come here.
I used to watch this everyday such a cool entrance!
