wow this is disappointing on so many levels. song is exact copy of crayon pops doo doom chit, dance is t-ara's lovey dovey and the shuffling with glow up shoes is a.des good time (just because they're nugu they thought we wouldnt notice lmao), daisys rap scene including the flow and dance is basically childish gambinos this is america and to top it off all off the messiness.

The song sounds like shinsadong tiger had it already lying around somewhere and just added a sample he found on SoundCloud because it sounds so out of place.

Wow. I can understand why they would want to “recreate” BB since it got so big but this is almost a carbon copy; and a bad one at that. I hope Korea sees this mess for what it is and let’s them flop.
i'm not very educated on this subject, so i genuinely want to hear opinions on this. would the ancient egypt part also be considered cultural appropriation? i've seen people say they don't see it that way because its an ancient culture that has been gone for thousands of years. or is it still considered cultural appropriation because people dress up like this assuming that's what egypt is actually still like?
The ancient culture thing doesn’t apply here since while they aren’t depicting the same time period in Korean history in the video, the ancient Egypt era overlapped the same time period as the Korean Three Kingdoms era. These two cultures existed in some fashion at the same time but the Egyptian scenes are the meme’d ones where they fawn over a “genie lamp”, which isn’t even Egyptian culture and have a mummy running around.
They didn’t turn the Korean, French, or American scenes into a joke but did for Egypt, Vietnam and Mexico, cultures predominantly depicted as having darker skin tones than East Asians. That’s fucked up and very “My culture is not a costume” territory.
I actually like this better than Bboom Bboom too much Yeonwoo in the MV she always looks super awkward to me. And I'm fairly sure there's like four members I still haven't seen in either this or the last MV.
I found a line distibrution vid with this sped up, and wow it sounds way better sped up! I’ll be listening to the faster version more. The line distibrution was really good too for a large group.
....now onto the obvious lmao the MV is fucked up! I bet the company is hoping controversy will lead to more views, but it better help with sales too or else what does it matter 🙃 Also wow, this company sure is blatant with stealing content. They are so shameless I mean damn lol. After the scandal they had last time you’d think they’d be more careful, but they probably saw how stealing really benefited them so why stop?

The song and dance are okay, really similar to Bboom Bboom (which I understand, they're trying to secure their new-found fame before moving on to something else, I'm not saying this to blame them, I get it) but not as well inspired as the 1.0 version (especially the rap break which takes away from the song this time). The video now... what a mess.
the song and MV aren't really impressive. echoing what everybody else has to say about the MV. so well I guess this is not a good follow up, and I hope they do better the next time

I'm probably the only one in Omona that didn't like BoomBoom. This is, in some parts, a bit better but I'm still gonna pass.
