Comedian Kim Tae Ho Passes Away In Tragic Fire

Comedian Kim Tae Ho has passed away.

On June 19, it was revealed that he passed away in a fire at Gunsan in North Jeolla Province.

Kim Tae Ho traveled to Gunsan for a charity golf tournament and was at a drinking establishment with acquaintances. While he was there, a man in his 50s got in an argument with the owner about his bill and poured gasoline, starting a fire. 30 people were injured and three men were killed, including Kim Tae Ho.

Born in 1967, Kim Tae Ho debuted as a KBS comedian in 1991 and has since appeared in various variety programs and dramas. At the Korean Culture Entertainment Awards, he won a lifetime achievement award in 2013 and an award for excellence as an MC in 2014. He has recently been active as an event MC.

We offer our sincere condolences to Kim Tae Ho’s family and friends.

All because some a**hole got mad that his bill was high. Tsk tsk.

Anyway, he's not important. I didn't follow Kim Tae Ho but rest in peace. I can't imagine his family hearing about this knowing it was violent and away from home. My thoughts to his soul and his family.
