Back in November, Sunny revealed her apartment for the first time on national television. Back then we only got shots of her living room with the amazing view of the Han river. In February of this year, she invited the hosts of the tv show "Real Life Men & Women" to visit her at home, this time revealing much more of her apartment. After months her cut recently got subbed and uploaded on Youtube.

S.Korea's interior decor is so sterile, most homes I've seen showcased like this look like hotel rooms, lol, barely lived in. I suppose it helps with the cleaning although I highly doubt she cleans the place herself.

I'd go nuts with a place like that. The most interesting place in her apartment is the play room.

Unrelated, but I'm so glad Sunny has her own dedicated sub team now. It only took 10 years... T^T

The lack of interpersonal items also stands out. I hope it's just me reading too much into it, but it seems she really is only close to her members, her family and cat and into her games, comics and collectibles. She's mentioned being lonely several times, I hope my baby finds somebody that makes her happy. T^T

I agree with the interior decor comment, all the apartments look like no one took the time to change it up

The barrenness/sterility is what I always notice; it seems like an inventive interior designer could make a killing. Traditional korean clothing is so beautiful and evocative (and presumably housing, but I've seen less of it) I am just waiting for a revival/modern incorporation into current housing.

Every time we see a Korean celeb's apartment, it looks like this! So fcking boring with all that money.

Jumping on the bandwagon here and saying that her apartment looks so boring? Like it’s just white and plain?? Like damn you’ve got money so why wouldn’t you design it to look nice

I wonder if the interior has anything to do with how Asians see cars, I remember watching a show where people talked about never buying coloured cars in case you need to sell it even though the family in questions kept all there cars for 7+ years

I don't really agree with this; it's 2.3 million, but appears to be a prime location and view, and seems to be a 2 bedroom, 2 bath.

Ah, the site where I did the coversion showed a very different amount. 2.3 million makes more sense

you see one luxury apartment in seoul you've pretty much seen them all lol but i like her lilac couch.

i've been looking into shipping container housing recently and seeing the house they built for that farm show TVN is doing I'm super convinced I'm going to end up living in one lol

I've always loved the idea of shipping container homes for some reason, lol. There are some pretty neat things you can do with them. It would definitely be an option for me if it wasn't illegal (last time I checked) in my country. :(

aw that sucks :( Are tinyhomes illegal too? this isn't a container home but it's definitely in the same spirit

They are, I believe, however tiny homes are not my thing. I've actually already kind of found what I want my future home to look like with a tweak here and there, and I believe it's possible to build it with shipping containers.

It's like a two story granny flat (https://www.thespruce.com/what-is-a-granny-flat-1695933) with an industrial touch. It's still small but spacious, perfect for my forever alone ass.

Granny Flats are pretty much the perfect size for a single person! I've never been about huge homes tbh I'd be so happy in something that size with lots of windows.

bruh even tho nyc is expensive as hell, you can still get a nice ass apartment for that same price. sk real estate is trash.

The view seem pretty cool but apart from the playroom, does she really live there? My first flat was more decorated that that and I don't have her money lol.

lol one thing I noticed is that Koreans really love the "minimalism" aesthetic.

Wow, I love high ceilings and spacious rooms, this looks like heaven to me. A bit sad she only has one room, where you can actually see more personality, the rest is pretty bare. But nice apartment nonetheless! Love the windows as well ♥ So much daylight, love that :)

the view looks wonderful and i love the floor to ceiling windows but i agree that her place lacks some personal touches here and there. but it could also just be what she fancies. oh well.

but man, seoul's real estate is just tough.

The apartment is nice but so sparcely decorated lol. There's like, no personality there.

It's not quite as sterile as I expected, the sofa and area rug in the living room are nice and comfy looking. They have such cute apartments in dramas but the high end celeb homes never look like that. I'd love to live an apartment like "Because this is my first life".

tbh I have no idea why asian celebrity homes hover on boring or ostentatious, it's like there's seldom any middle ground in terms of the design. with that much money, I'm actually surprised they don't hire an interior designer to help them

They all live like it's an investment piece. It can be both a home and an investment piece! It's not that hard!

And for location, view, plus amenities (because I expect the building is stacked) it doesn't seem any more than the major U.S. markets. Europe is supposedly worse than ours?

I geek out over interiors and I would love to decorate some of these celebs homes cuz it looks so cold and impersonal. I've seen some stuff from Shah Rukh Khan's home and I love how Gauri has done it up. Even Jennifer Aniston's home, it looks so lovely.

I guess it's a K-Celeb thing lol
