During a recent V-Live, a fan asked Yuri why she hasn't had a fan meeting yet. She begins that out of her members, Yoona, Sooyoung and Seohyun had solo fanmeets and Taeyeon had her solo concerts. She then explained that they told her that one can't hold fan meetings whenever he/she wants, because less fans would come, and her manager told her that it might be disappointing for her. She says she knows many fans are waiting for her, and maybe her manager will realize that one day, and ends with "You (the fans) might need to work a bit harder."

ugh, SM really does not know how to promote her as a solo well tbh. the fact that Sooyoung got fanmeetings lined up for her after she switched agencies says a lot about how SM prioritises their artistes. yes she may not be as popular as other members, but this was a member that gained a lot of traction in 2009/2010 and SM did nothing much about it?!

all I can hope is that with her drama shooting wrapped up and her surgery done and dusted, the 2nd half of 2018 can bring her some hype and activities. I've been waiting for the sign of a solo debut since her 2015 birthday fan meet?!

tbh, if she had one fanmeet in Bangkok like Sooyoung/Yoona, or solo activities in Taiwan/HK like Taeyeon, I might really fly over there for her.

i think it was because soshi still had their cute/innocent image back then, and yuri was known as the sexy member. they rather pushed yoona who was the girl next door and didnt interfere with soshi's image

Fuck SM for doing this to her. Yuri has so much of solo potential, I was convinced she's going to be the next Lee Hyori till they started pushing her as an actress. She can easily sell out halls, it doesn't have to be huge fan meeting but fuck them for this. Urgh.

This is literally why I dislike SM's management, they've always played favourites with the girls and I don't blame SooSeoFany for leaving because of this bullshit.
