damn, the energy in this. i could barely get a good look of the girls’ faces bc they were jumping and bouncing around so much lol. i’m not sure what the stomach stabbing move is about but i like the choreo overall
the audience was so hype, esp during chuu’s parts (same). i felt like their exicitement was contagious, it made the watching experience so much fun
First of all, I love this performance!! As other people have already mentioned, Chuu’s energy is super infectious. On the other hand, I feel like this sort of cute concept doesn’t suit Olivia Hye at all? She just sort of seems there, but they’re still new so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt (btw, does she remind anyone else of one of the Sunny Hill members? I can’t remember her name for the life of me tho).
Oh, and wasn’t it the case that the Loona members were being picked as the group was growing instead of BBC knowing who they would debut in advance? Do you think any of those backup dancers are Loona rejects bc I would hate if i was rejected and still had to backup dance for them LOL
They have regular back up dancers since Heejin's songs and they've been really careful to not show faces of potential Loona members so I think they are working with a dance crew rather than trainees :)
the first time i heard the song i wasn't really digging it but now i can't stop listening to it. This performance makes me like the song even more. It's great to see them have fun on stage, which for a lot of groups is not that common
This was so good! Chuu killed it. And I couldn't stop watching Go Won! She had so much energy (as did all the girls honestly); it sort of makes up for her crunchy voice lol.
I don't think I've ever been so invested in a group like this while they're still in early years (even Soshi were well established when I got into them) how am I going to be once they debut lol

After the announcement about the OT12 debut being the darkest concept from them yet, I really can hardly wait for it; maybe then the battle for my bias between Haseul, Yves and Chuu will be resolved.
awww they look nervous but did so well finding the cameras and keeping the energy up. the unit's a lot sweeter leaning than I expected but I think it's a nice foil to OEC and puts 1/3 into a good mid-point between the two.
I went and looked at the sales numbers on wiki cuz I could't remember if 1/3 was the actual subunit name and Chuu and Olivia have the biggest KR sales so far for solo releases. Was expecting Chuu being really popular Olivia was a nice surprise. this last unit is the biggest but idk if that's cuz Loona as a whole is getting more popular or if KR just rly loves this last grouping.
It's just not what I would have expected since imo these last couple of soloist releases haven't really been great but I guess they're way more Korean public friendly than international friendly which is the smart thing close to debut
the chair gif just reminds me that the units are lopsided in that Vivi jumped the line to be in the first and it left both Loona 1/3 as an inaccurate title and OEC with only 3 members (not that they NEED more, ever). I respect that BBC said Yeojin was kept back so she could focus more on school but I do wish she'd gotten to perform on stage already too.
I also wonder what this means for her if they re-use the units. Will she go to 1/3?
as someone who doesn't follow the group that was such a whelming performance lol i guess their pre-debut strategy is really paying off in terms of drumming up fan enthusiasm
