Suzy and Lee Seung Gi cast in new drama

Actors Lee Seung-gi and Bae Suzy, better known by her stage name Suzy, have been cast for the new television series "Vagabond," a Seoul-based public relations company said Tuesday.

The two will appear in the spy action series as the two lead characters, 3HW Communications said. It is their second time appearing together in a drama after "Gu Family Book" in 2013.

Lee will play stunt man Cha Gun, who sets out to discover the truth behind a plane crash, while Suzy will take the role of national intelligence officer Go Hae-ri.

Produced by Yoo In-sik of popular dramas, including "Giant" and "Mrs. Cop" and "Dr. Romantic," the series will be broadcast in Korea, the United States and Japan simultaneously. Sony Pictures is in charge of overseas distribution, 3HW Communications said.

Filming is set to start soon.

Ok I'm one of the few but I LOVED Gu Family Book when it came out. The ending sucked but overall it was my fave for a while.

These two are low on the list of drama couples I'd like to be paired up in something new but eh. Suzy did do better in WYWS but I'm not really looking forward to her in this. I do love Lee Seung Gi and Shin Sung Rok is also in the cast and I like him, so there's things I'm excited about. I read it won't be airing until 2019 though.

oh no.... she finally managed to beat her drama curse and now she is back at it again. rip.
gu family book was just terrible and i'm still bitter that she got all the heat when writing was so shitty that literally nobody seemed like a good actor and lee seung gi was esp awful in it.

am not really a fun of Lee Seung Gi but suzy I like so maybe, maybe i will check it out
