Family Outing Reunion news

I only wish it were under happier circumstances. Park Ye Jin, Lee Chun Hee, and Park Shi Yeon will return to Family Outing for its finale, finale as in ending, last episode, it’s over, etc. The filming for the finale will be held on January 11th and 12th. It was previously reported that Yoo Jae Suk and Park Shi Yeon would be leaving the show and that the future of the show was in jeopardy because of that and numerous scandals regarding the ‘reality’ of the show. Just recently, it was announced that Yoo Jae Suk would NOT be leaving the show (yay!) but that the rest of the cast will (what? BOO!). After the finale episode, sometime in mid February, Family Outing will return with a season 2 with Jae Suk as the MC (although conflicting reports say Jae Suk’s return isn’t finalized yet) and a new cast, and new plot.

I had been hoping for Jae Suk to stay on the show, but I never thought they would keep him and get rid of everyone else! I’m not sure whether to be happy or sad. I couldn’t imagine Family Outing without Jae Suk, and had thought that the only thing that would make it okay would be for Ye Jin and Chun Hee to return. But now they’re changing everything!

Well, I guess things change and everyone must move on. I will miss seeing the whole family every week, they always brought laughter to my day. The one positive thing about all of this is that all of the family members have experienced much success and popularity from being on the show. It was because fans were able to see more of a ‘normal’ side to some of their favorite actors, singers, and MCs. Thanks to the family Yoon Jong Shin, Kim Soo Ro, Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Jong Kook, Lee Hyori, Lee Chun Hee, Park Shi Yeon, Park Ye Jin, Park Hae Jin, and Kang Daesung for all the wonderful memories.

Next week’s show will be part 2 of the Lee Sung Soo and Jo Han Seon episode. On January 17th and 24th, will be the episodes with Tiffany from SNSD and Nicole from KARA. As an added bonus members from SNSD and KARA as well as from the Brown Eyed Girls and T-Ara will be making a surprise appearance. I’m guessing that the finale will be airing on January 31st and February 7th. I can’t believe there are only 5 episodes left…

MC Yoo Jae-suk and Lee Hyori will be leaving the hit variety show on SBS, “Family Outing” after 1.5 years. Their last taping will be on January 11th and 12th. However, the show will go on with its second season. No word yet as to who will replace the two stars.
