3. Lots of new kdramas but work and kpop has been keeping me busy I dont have much time to watch. Watching Suits and Switch. Both are good!!!
4. Just wanna share, my friends are in Korea right now for Bangtan's comeback. They went to watch Music Bank earlier (they were there as early as 4AM). BTS had to go through the back entrance (no photo op walk) because there were so many people outside, almost stampede going in. It was scary.

I bleached my hair in order to try different colors this year and a couple of people (whom I only see once in a blue moon if not even less; we just happened to meet again at a wedding this past weekend) had very strong opinions about what colors I should not go for. One said "oh please tell me you're not going to try purple or green. I keep seeing high schoolers and undergrads with these colors and I just rme so hard ugh" and the other one said "omg you're blonde now!! it looks so good on you! wait, no, why do you want to dye it purple? no, you're too old for that." I'm just ???

Anyway, I have a tube of light-purple/lavender dye on my desk and it's going straight into my hair this weekend.

It is here that I will express my concern for CLC. I'm genuinely excited that (G)I-dle has already found such runaway success - I'd say YG is #Shook but we know he doesn't GAF - but most of what cube has done with/for CLC has been mishandling and with their junior group already beating them to a milestone I'm worried they might get lost in the shuffle :(

I'm dead tired, so tired that I feel like my body doesn't want to cooperate anymore and I'm about to pass out in front of the computer lol. Went to a wedding last weekend, spent the whole night awake for the BBMAs and now I regret everything. Am I getting too old?

I have so many things to do before going away for 2 months or more (not on vacation sadly) but it feels like the day has less than 24h. Plus, I have to apply for a couple of jobs and can't figure out what to write in my cover letters and when to get started. I hate everything right now ugh

You're not too old :) you just need to find the sleep pattern that fits you, and adapt it when there are special events like last weekend. I'm sure that by catching up with sleep this weekend, and going to bed earlier in the week (even just half an hour) will help you get your energy back.
If you have the opportunity for sport (or even just including more walking time into your daily routine) it will help you have deeper sleeps and feel less tired in the long run! I have to walk a lot more to get to work currently and even if I'm really tired (I also had a sleepless weekend lol + new job for 3 weeks now it's tiring!) I can feel that I'm falling asleep quicker and recover a little better too

Do you have a daily routine? While I don't have a job, I keep myself motivated by doing some yoga in the morning, some volunteer work for a few hours, then clean around the house, and then do come craft stuff for the rest of the afternoon. It's not the most exciting routine, but I know if I didn't do it I'd be lethargic and moody.

Yesterday I had an interview for a perm financial analyst position and I feel like it went really well but I don’t want to get my hopes up. The director said he had five more people (yikes) to interview today and Tuesday so I won’t hear back till Wednesday or Thursday so wish me luck!!

Also tonight I’m going on a second date with one of my guys to see Deadpool 2! Anyone that’s seen it, what do you think of it? I’m kind of cheating bc I haven’t seen the first one yet LOL

Hi there omona! It's my 24th birthday today, anyone else felt the sense of impending doom intensify? i don't really have much time to celebrate, i'm going out for drinks with some friends but it's mostly because my best friend's boyfriend's birthday is on the same day so i mostly join their celebrations.

my finals are starting on monday and i totally gave up, i just don't care anymore as long as i pass, which is such a foreign feeling. i used to care. that stupid department wore me down (doesn't help that i don't care for stuff we're learning this year. like, at all)

from more exciting news, i'm going to finally chop off my hair on tuesday. i can't wait, now that i finally made an appointment it's driving me crazy, i hate long hair but i'm too lazy visit a salon regularily

also if things go well i won't be going to korea for summer but for an entire next semester! i don't have much hope, i'm just waiting for my department to mess something up or tell me i can't go for some stupid reason, but maybe it'll work out, we'll see.

Well Omona, ya gurl did it! I graduated from law school and got to wear a funny hat and really uncomfortable fancy mumu! The whole thing was a blur and really a lot of fun, despite the weather being its usual mischievous midwest self.


Now I speak to you from bar exam prep hell, where I will take residence for the next two months and pray I find a job before my lease is up at the end of August.

hello Omona, I hope you've been having a great week with summer here.

For me, it's been a great week, first getting confirmation for my new job in July, which I have tendered in my resignation for my current shit job! yay to me (it's been also a one half year looking for something I've wanted/foresee myself doing while doing unrelated or part-time jobs so far. plus, I'm flying off tomorrow night for a week long holiday and am totally excited for it woohoo, so that culminates a great period for me.

looking at my shinee fancams today and i'm just so mad. i saw them live three times, the last being in los angeles last year, but after jinki's scandal i deleted all of the videos from that concert and fuck i wish i hadn't. the only memories i have left of their concerts and of jonghyun are just a dozen pics and vids from kcon la 2016. i'm so upset. i wish i hadn't acted so impulsively but now they're gone forever.

My sister is visiting me this week and yesterday we went to an amusement park. Minus the thousands of annoying eighth graders there, it was a lot of fun! I'm definitely not feeling as young as I once did, though, my neck hurts and we left before the park closed because we were exhausted haha.

I'm really liking the new drama About Time so far, I like the characters and the actors and I hope it doesn't disappoint me going forward.

My joy this week was the kerfuffle between Army and Krisus stans, particularly the idea that SM helped out. Anyone else fing the joy there?

And my gripe: f*ing kdram's making their leading ladies stomp/jog after men or from men.
1. You can wear heels that fit, and learn to walk in them.
2. No one thinks running like an elephant wearing an adult diaper is girlish or cute.
3. Even if he’s a 4 inches taller than you, you can keep up! And if he won’t slow down, f* him.
4. If you see something you don’t like, running away just draws attention to your distress.

I've managed to completely mess up my sleep schedule and routine the past two weeks working on a big project so now I gotta fix it this weekend. Working on a bunch of project prep for the next couple of weeks work but I just booked a vacation in August! Very much looking forward to that ^_^

i'm so happy this week is over. half of my departments staff was gone this week which meant that we had to do double the work. it was absolutely crazy and i can't believe i survived it!! that's why u decided to not plan anything this weekend and just relax, nap and watch some funny variety shows/dramas (recs are always welcome) 😊😊
