Lee Seo Won charged with sexually harassing & threatening female celeb, gets removed from drama
Music Bank fires Lee Seo Won; ZE:A's Kim Dongjun to replace him in drama

During the May 22nd episode of SBS’ "One Night of Entertainment", the show featured guest appearances from police officers who were first respondents on the scene when Lee Seo Won molested and threatened a female celebrity while intoxicated from alcohol.

Lee Seo Won entered an uncontrollably belligerent state on April 8th. ‘A report came in for harassment. He was arrested for sexual harassment and special threats on location. The weapon was a knife. He was so drunk he couldn't even control himself. He also cursed a lot.

A lawyer then stated, ‘If he's found guilty after investigating, he'll be prosecuted and undergo a criminal trial. I'm carefully predicting that the results will be out within a month.’

Lee Seo Won’s Agency Responds To Reports Of Terminating Contract

Blossom Entertainment has responded to reports regarding Lee Seo Won’s contract.

After the actor was charged with sexually harassing and threatening a female celebrity with a weapon, some speculated that his contract with Blossom Entertainment would get terminated.

In response to these speculations, a source from the agency clarified, It is not true that we are canceling his contract with us. We have never even discussed it. It’s difficult to reveal exactly how much time is left on his contract, but it is not true that we are terminating it.”

should we really be surprised that when a celeb (mostly a male) commits a crime, the agency isn't going to terminate his contract. look at kangin, he's still committing crimes left, right & center and SM isn't going to let him go.

if anything, blossom ent is just going to let seo won "reflect" (aka let the controversy die down) and be back in our tv screen in no time. i mean, look at park shi hoo and lee jin-wook. both committed a crime and here they are, back to filming like nothing ever happened.

It’s honestly so absurd to me. Meanwhile female idols and actresses sneeze and their careers are over. This man is a criminal and could have potentially stabbed this woman but yet his career will most likely turn out fine in the end. Oppa didn’t mean it and this will just be a blip in the road.

From what I know SM doesnt kick people out, they just shove you in the basement till your contract expires if you lose favour with them. Now if they renew his contract I'll be surprised.

Sounds like they are going to blame it on drinking and let him off with a small fine

He was so drunk he couldn't even control himself.

Stop with the excuses. If you can’t handle your alcohol, don’t fucking drink.
I hope his fans, if he still had them, stop supporting.

Lol at the I was drunkkkkkk excuses. Why do people act like no one else has ever been drunk before and know what it's like? I've been drunk, and I didn't suddenly start assaulting people. That's on you buddy. Alcohol just loosens your inhibitions. Change your beliefs that it's okay to trespass people's boundaries, but in the mean time, are you gonna stop drinking? Or are you gonna blame the drink and then continue to drink?

Also, this dude should be dropped from his agency. Idk why they're protecting him (except I do, cause he's a dick, and the people in charge are probably also dicks i.e. men).

oh my god. I can't believe that's actual a legal defense. That's so messed up. Like, sober you makes the decision to drink, so sober or drunk you should have to face the consequences of those actions you made while drunk. That's just so wild to me. I can't wrap my head around. I just don't get why that's allowed and hasn't been changed. I know they like to drink and that it's their drug of choice, but aren't they strict on drunk driving? Shouldn't they also be strict on other drunk behavior? Then again, this is the same country where it's not weird to see people black out drunk in the street or vomit everywhere, which is just incredulous to me.

This is so horrible. How can they not drop him for threatening someone's life? He was waving around a knife, for fuck's sake and he MOLESTED a woman.

I'm just so disgusted, he was on Music Bank joking and laughing every week. Urgh, my skin is crawling.
