I tried to watch this earlier, but Jae and Jimin are so clearly over this MC job that it's just making the whole thing uncomfortable to watch.. the i-dle girls are super duper cute though, and it's interesting seeing which members are fluent in English

I think I have to agree. The girls are clearly newbies and a good MC would have put them at ease but they were semi sarky about it all. Well Jimin is Jimin and I think she did try to scale it back a bit, she's more at ease with people she can take the piss out of, not saying it in a bad way, that's just her personality.

I only just read the news about Kevin, didn't realise he had left, and I think it's imbalanced without him. Kevin is such a sweetheart marshmallow and because of that I think it's easier for the guests to relax, especially in a setting where there is a lot of English bring spoken.

Jae and Jimin really do feel like they are just going through the motions in this one. Hope it's just an off day. But yeah without Kevin it feels all awkward in this episode.

Kevin was great on this show, my fave host. He was very mature without being boring, and friendly enough to make the guests comfortable. He also helped reign Jimin in when she was being too much, something Jae can't do, cause their friendship is different. And agreed, Jimin is definitely at her best when the guests are people she knows and can joke around openly with.

I used to watch ASC weekly for Jae when he was made a host, and it's so disappointing to see just how much the atmosphere changed. I know that both he and Jimin were/are frustrated about other aspects of their careers, and they've both gotten very comfortable with expressing that and taking it out on this show. It just makes everything uncomfortable for everyone else, especially guests who are just there to have a fairly safe interview.

That is a shame, I never watched regularly just the acts I liked and maybe a few randomly if I was curious about a group. I wonder if they will stay for much longer. Jimin has been doing it for four years now.

If they get a third person in that might revive it a bit ( depending on who).

Trying to think of a good fit for the show...
Jackson would be fun but he's too busy and it might be chaos
I like Sorn, but don't know how she'd fit
Amber might be too jaded by now as well

Somi maybe? She has a good energy and seems fairly good at being at ease with people

Ooh Somi would be fun! I think Benji from B.I.G was okay for that one episode that I saw him host. Though I think an older idol might be best. Someone that can keep the ep from straying off topic, and it'll be less awkward when older groups guest (though that's kind of rare now)
