I still stand by my opinion that ptg would have gotten it if they stayed on music shows for just one more week they were really close (tho I’m glad they got rest from promotions so it’s a win lose situation I guess)
Yeah, I'm glad they get to rest now, especially considering how packed Hui's schedule has been since joining Breakers. They're also preparing for another comeback, so at the very least they were able to garner some interest for that.
side note bc i was curious and looked it up, this is the second fastest first win for a GG - behind only blackpink at 13 days post-debut. miss a is close behind at 22 days.
In terms of Korean records, Blackpink and Miss A are still the top two because they won on public broadcast channels which are what people consider "legit" wins since their criteria is harder to fulfill. The Show isn't counted as Korean music show win since it allows overseas + Chinese votes

They have a really good global fan base but their Korean fan base is no joke either - plus their digital sales are really good I’m impressed how they’re killing it!
I check that account every now and then! Crazy how most of the predictions there really happens. I think we have some post about predictions here in Omona. Usually at the start of the year. Its always fun reading them!
i'm super happy for them! but like everyone else i also wish clc finally gets noticed too. i also hope cube don't mess gidle up. clc had a wonderful debut, and yet here we are. i'm worried :(
I'm hoping this is cube rly starting to pay attention to what's missing in the market and putting themselves into that niche. Lip & Hip's raunchiness was missing from female soloist releases, Shine's lighthearted fun was missing from BGs at the time of release and Latata was a sound lacking in GG releases so maybe it'll be a continued trend and they'll be able to carry this through their entire line up.
I continue to be hopeful/positive towards CUBE coz since they changed their CEO, the overall direction has been good for their artists/groups. Even the trainees they send to survival shows has left good marks in peoples minds.

Its been a while since CUBE sent their artist/groups in The Show. So when I read that (G)I-DLE was gonna perform, it was like a sign that they were gonna win :) I'm really happy for them! And yeah, as a fan of CUBE groups, I'm really happy overall!
amazing! happy for their success, and it's a good sign for the company (as long as they don't fuck it up) I think this group will be the real successor to 4minute. I do hope that CLC keeps going the Black Dress direction, but I could see them getting experimental if less pressure is taken off them to WIN DAMNIT.
That said I really hope this means good things for CLC too and not the indefinite dungeon. I remember a rumor they're having a CB later this summer but uuuugh i trust nothing.
