I actually was suspicious at the beginnning, too. But this is Billboard we're taliking about, not some small-time music website.
I hope JYP takes this as a sign to stay in the US and not go to China and do promotions at the same time. I want WG in Korea the most but if I had to choose between US and China, I'm going with US.

Most US artists dont release singles, only albums (and generally US artists singles dont sell alot). Plus this is for physical sales and doesnt include legal downloads, alot of the time US artists singles are sold as downloads only.
i was curious about that too so i actually went to billboard.biz and it says that, "Billboard.biz (is) a 24/7 extension of Billboard magazine ... Billboard is the flagship property for the Billboard Information Group, which also consists of Billboard.biz, Billboard.com, ..."
The Nobody Single was only being sold for $1 both on itunes and in retail stores, plus all of the copies that they sold while on tour with the Jonas Brothers, so it's not really surprising that they managed to make it to the top ten.
That they're #1 is still a pretty huge deal, though,.
they were also selling them at the Jonas Brothers concert. Plus you had the choice of autographed single if you ordered online-so i think that helped too
This is just for physical single sales. Most American artists don't even release singles anymore since you can just download the single off Itunes. That is why there are mostly indie artists on that list. It is still pretty good considering their circumstances.
Billboard.biz is run and owned by billboard so it is legit but if you go to the site you will see that there is about 1000 charts lol
