I'm so sad and angry and depressed and defeated with the B99 cancellation news. It's like my favorite show and I'm not mentally prepared for only two more eps :(

The news of Sejeong and Ha Ji Won's new sci-fi variety program filming in Utah is so ??? I never ever thought anything k-entertainment related would ever be filmed in my home state, so that's cool and weird.

I've been binge watching Buzzfeed Unsolved but I'm also a huge wimp so I have to rotate it in with my Frasier watching so I won't be too freaked out.

I tried three times to get BTS tickets (LA, Oakland, LA again) and failed every time. I'm mad.

I'm also upset because I almost spent $1700 on two tickets in the AXS Premium tickets section because the price was listed as ~$500 total (for P1 seats, it was maybe $8 over the list price per ticket), but when I put them in my basket it showed up as $1700. With the five minute limit to pay for tickets and me not being logged in, I was in such a rush that I almost didn't notice. I was already salty that they get to scalp their own tickets, but misrepresenting the prices is a completely different level of shady.

i'm thinking abt doing a working holiday in korea next year! has anyone done it before? it'll be my second time in korea and i'll probably just work at hostels in seoul and busan while studying korean and hanging out w my best friend and her family lmao. i'm working rly hard to save up for it and so i can do some more traveling before and after but my employment is kinda precarious rn so we'll see how that goes.

I had a really long comment with the cat drama going on in my brother's house but closed the window and lost it lol. Long story short, the two cats in the house don't get along (the young one wants to play but doesn't realize he hurts while my brother's princess cat is having none of it) and the neighbour's cat is actually crazy and dangerous so we have to make separate garden times (houses share the same garden). My hands are full of scars from separating fighting cats (especially yesterday because crazy neighbour cat violently attacked young housemate cat). We'll not try anything with the crazy one but does anyone have tips to help the two cats in our house getting along a little better? TT

I will most certainely miss the eurovision this year and I'm heartbroken :( well I shouldn't be because it will be a fun family night haha but I like watching performances and comment them live!!!

Work is going on fine, flat hunting not so much but meh as expected, I'm searching near Paris after all... also, I'm catching up with friends I haven't seen in a long time! With my anxiety it looked so difficult but so far, it's fine. I still have to contact other friends and they might be less welcoming but small steps!

As much as people say all fans are created equal, therefore they should all be able to see their group, it sucks that my day 1 Army best friend couldn't get tickets to either Newark show but we did manage to get tickets for 9/8 so holla if that's your date. Turns out Phoenix is in town that same week so I might finally get to see them, after 9 years? LA people, what should we hit up?
Kcon NY is a pass. Maybe I'm too picky but I don't see the lineup appeal at all except had RV and 127 been on the same date. I wish we could get more 2nd/3rd gen groups before they disband. Why is Golden Child going instead of Infinite? Ugh.
And new Arctic Monkeys alb out today! I hope I'm not disappointed. Sorry for the lack of paragraph spaces but my phone is shit. :-) Next week I turn 24 and I have no life prospects because I'm one of those people that thought I'd be dead by now but then SHINee soon after should wake me up a little bit.

Has anyone bought or know of anyone who’s bought the new GOT7 lightstick? What do you/they think of it? All I’ve seen so far on twitter is that the bluetooth’s wonky and some of them are falling apart at the seams (literally) but the bird changing colour is so pretty I’m holding out hope it isn’t as bad as it sounds ;_____;

hello omona, it's been a while since I've logged in, and damn has so much been happening in kpop?! but at least I've been busy since, watching Avengers, going on a holiday and just spending time celebrating! hope yall have been fine, and time for me to catch up on so much. I loved Avengers, and I've been so stuck up on reading all the theories and just cannot wait for 2019 to come

also, I've recently started watching P101 China edition, anybody else wants to discuss it? I started for Meiqi and Xuanyi, but stayed for the other familiar faces like Ella and Hu Yan Bin (don't care for Show), and also some of the hilarity from the contestants. the quality of trainees aren't as spectacular as the Korean version imo, but I feel like it's less uptight in a way? but there are obvious ways in which the girls are trying to get the spotlight.

also, I'm shocked that Kimberley is there?! she had quite a huge hit that my friends and I sing at karaokes, so I didn't expect her to join. but I do understand why she would, considering her career is kinda stagnant and she does want to show her other sides and capture the mainland Chinese market. I do want her to go far, but I don't think she will because she's a foreigner, and her personality would probably get bad edits and won't rub everyone positively.

I also feel that Meiqi and Xuanyi are under huge pressure to deliver, because of their reputation and the expectations. it's clear especially in Meiqi's screentime and during the ep3 team songs? but I'm so proud of them for performing well, with Meiqi's talent being recognised and Xuanyi endearing herself to everyone. Xuanyi is definitely a shoo-in for top 11, but Meiqi doesn't seem to be getting a very good edit so far (and she seems to be less outgoing than Xuanyi). I can't really remember the other girls, but I do like Fu Ying and Sunee too! (the A girls are talented for sure though)

i just use it on my desktop and its sf annoying having to manually scroll through 2 years of content to find a variety show ... why don't they make playlists on the group pages with v-lives, program 1, program 2, music videos, etc????

Personnally I haven't found a way to make my own playlists but most of the time, when there's a variety show, the channel makes the playlist themselves (you just need to open one video and by the end it's going to direct you automatically to the next video from the same show).
You also have a dashboard with only videos from channels you subscribed too (really useful as a multifandom fan) which helps checking out what's new with my biases.
But overall vlive could be a lot better in organizing videos, you still need to go far in history to get to the first episode of one variety show even with an account, I don't know why they haven't done anything for it yet

Been in Texas the past week because my friend is graduating from dental school. I have three friends in Texas that I haven't seen in years so it was nice to be down here and take a break from work since that's basically all I do.

Kinda sad cuz like many others I didn't get tickets to see BTS which I kinda already saw happening because I knew I'd be busy the day tickets went on sell for Chicago. I tried getting them on my phone but that was fail. I have a friend who has tickets to the Hamilton show because she got tickets to different show, which might work better for me since where I live in Michigan is closer to Canada than Chicago. But if I take them I might be going by myself since my friends I'm not sure will want to go to Canada. I guess we shall see.... maybe I should just accept the fact I probably won't be going this year. People were petitioning for another Chicago show but after watching burn the stage...I really don't want that. I feel like it's already kinda soon for them have another world tour to begin with. I just hope they will be okay.

I am ... ashamed, because problematic and all, but I can't stop watching Super Junior things. I have tried to watch so many boyband reality shows, and Super Junior is the only one entertaining me as much as Got7 does. I think it's partially because they're older (like baby the boyz are just so baby), but also every time Yesung loses it I am so entertained.

On that note, did anyone see their interview in Mexico when the blessed host kept pushing them on whether they have pre-martial sex? She was the best host, I want all the groups to sit down and be interviewed by her.

I finished my half-marathon and it was great. So great. Now I'm struggling to put together a new goal, because the running gave me structure and kept me mentally healthy. I'm flirting with 30 days of yoga, but *boring*.

I've been watching SVU and B99 like I always do, and just like everyone else who loves B99, I'm pretty mad that it got canceled. I just got my friend to start watching it too. That decision makes no sense to me, the show is so successful!!

Otherwise, life is good, I've been able to stay focused and productive all day every day and it's like, who am I? lol I'm gonna do my best to keep this trend going.

Some of my coworkers are the nicest! I am updating them on the BTS comeback/tickets situation all the time, and today they asked me to show them V's MV and even put a playlist on Spotify. I don't know what I would do without them!

Because apart from that work sucks a lot. Right now we are understaffed and I've been forced to take on a lot of responsibility and work and it makes me really anxious. What pisses me off the most is that my boss always makes it seem like the stress is only inside of my head... I just don't know what to do when I start to lose control

It's been a week since I lost my job and it sucks LOL. Ive made job hunting my fulltime job this week though. I had a video interview yesterday but I don't think I did too well but we'll see.

I'm also still getting over that former coworker. I cried a bit today for the first time in a few days and it sucked :/ I started counseling though yesterday and I have my next appointment on Tuesday so I'm excited! I started off talking about him but she kept having me branch off and we ended up somewhere else by the end of it. I want to go back to the topic of him bc I need to get over him though so idk haha.

well this week was eventful... not really, nothing really happened.
tomorrow my mom and i are going to our high school to say goodbye to our circle... when the high school was built most of the classrooms were built in a circle. they are remodeling and building a new section for classrooms and tearing the circle down.

Next friday is BTS FRIDAY, i plan on wearing my BTS shirt to work and having a listening party in my office. everyone is welcome, but it's byod and byof (bring your own drink and bring your own food).
