JYP to debut a new girl group by this year

JYP Entertainment announced today that they will be introducing a so-called "Chinese version of Wonder Girls" early this year.

The female group is to be composed to Korean and Chinese members. While their name and the exact member composition is yet to be decided, they are planning on releasing an album during the first half of 2010.

A representative from JYPE stated, "The new group will perform in Korea as well as China and regions that use Chinese. They are currently preparing for promotion in China, appearing on local network of Zhejiang region and such."

He went on to say "The members have received training in JYPE for years. They will debut with trendy music and style."
